Trainer T. Edmonds advised that Ahndras was vetted during the week and found to have a chipped bone in the off front fetlock and will now undergo surgery.
 
From SCTC, 17.9.17 Race 6
 
Trainer B. Currie reported that in light of thee disappointing performancee of Can Do Campbell the horse would now be sent for a spell.

Race 1: Sky Racing Class 2 HHcap 2200m
 
THE PINKERTON Slow to begin. Trainer J. Zielke reported that the horse returned to scale with its tongue over the bit, which, in his opinion, could explain the disappointing performance. He also added he would now experiment with the addition of a tongue-tie to its gear. A post race veterinary examination of the horse failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.
 
 
 
Race 2: Sky Thoroughbred Central F&M Class 1 HHcap 1200m
 
TAY SWIFT Jumped away awkwardly and raced greenly throughout.. Held up and unable to improve rounding the home turn, and approaching the 400m shifted out and became awkward at the heels of RED COLOUR.
 
RED COLOUR Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.
 
 
Race 3: @Skyracingau Open HHcap 1000m
 
KLAMMER Blundered at the start and lost ground.. Shifted in near the 700m and brushed the running rail. Returned to scale with a minor laceration to the near foreleg.
 
 
Race 4: @Skyharness F&M Maiden HHcap 1400m
 
WOOLOOMAN SKY A pre-race examination of the mare,, which bumped an old injury to its off-side shoulder when arriving on course resulting in that wound bleeding slightly, cleared the horse to start.
 
JAZZ ADELE Slow to begin.
 
HUGS NN KISSES Slow to begin.. Raced wide.
 
CONGRATU Began awkwardly. Overraced in the early stages.
 
INVINCIBLE TYPE Steadied from heels when the pace slackened.
 
LA FIREBIRD Raced wide without cover.
 
 
Race 5: Skyracing.com.au CG&EE Maiden HHcap 1400m
 
TIAMAN Change of tactics. Connections advised that the horse will be ridden in a more handy position from the favourable alley. The horse subsequently settled midfield.
 
TWICE ALONE Slow to begin.
 
BOLD ASSASSIN Bumped by another runner on jumping away. Hampered by another runner approaching the 1200m and forced wider on the track. Raced wide without cover.
 
BUELLERRS DAY OFF Jumped away awkwardly and made contact with another runner. Shifted out abruptly approaching the 1200m.
 
PRIMAL TOUCH Raced wide in the early stages before being ridden forward to assume a position in the lead passing the 700m.
 
SHINNECOCK Laid out under pressure in the home straight.
 
ARISTOCAT When asked to explained the performance, jockey D. Browne stated thatt the horse is still green and would take benefit from the race experience today. He added that the colt finished the race off quite well in the straight and, in his view, will be better suited in races over longer distances than that of todayys.
 
 
Race 6: Sky Racing Replays Class 5 HHcap 1200m
 
SHEES WORTHY Slow to begin.. Overraced in the early stages.
 
DREAM OF SLIPS Approaching the 1000mm was placed in restricted room to the inside of another runner and had to be steadied.
 
OLL BROWN EYES Lost its near fore plate on jumping away.
 
HIDDEN ROSE Lost its off fore plate in running.
 
 
Race 7: Skyracing.com.au Ratings Band 0-65 HHcap 1400m
 
CALL ME RUSTY Connections advised that the gelding, whichh had been ridden forward in longer races,, today would be ridden more conservatively from the wide alley as it was stepping back in distance today. Raced wide.
 
SO INVINCIBLE Jumped away awkwardly and lost ground. Bled from both nostrils post race and as such was barred from racing for a period of 3 months and must gallop 1000m in the presence of a stewards prior to next start.
 
TENNESSEE FLING Jumped away awkwardly and lost ground.
 
LIKE A RULER Steadied leaving the 1100m when placed in restricted room.
 
IRONBORN Raced wide without cover.
 
AIRLIE REWARD Overraced when the pace slackened near the 800m.
