Connections were advised that a veterinary clearance must be supplied prior to its next race start.

On return to scale a protest was lodged by jockey L. Rolls, rider of the 2nd placegetter, GLENTURRET, against WHODUNNIT being declared the winner, alleging interference in the straight.  After taking evidence from the parties concerned and viewing the patrol film, stewards were satisfied that GLENTURRET, whilst inclined to lay in, was inconvenienced when WHODUNNIT shifted out passing the 400m.  Stewards also established that GLENTURRET was inconvenienced near the 200m when WHODUNNIT shifted out under pressure resulting in GLENTURRET  being shifted back to the inside to secure clear running.  Stewards however could not be satisfied that the interference suffered as a result of WHODUNNIT shifting out was sufficient to overturn the three-quarters of a length margin between the 2 horses at the finish of the event and therefore dismissed the objection.

ROCKING MY WORLD – Which was slow to begin and was further hampered when tightened for room shortly after the start.
