Bayliss, rider of the 2nd placegetter, PRINCESS CAVALLO, against MYMMING being declared the winner, alleging interference near the 400m. After taking evidence from the parties concerned and viewing the stewards patrol video, it was established that whilst PRINCESS CAVALLO had suffered interference at this stage of the race, stewards were satisfied that the incident had been instigated when OUR NETBANK shifted out, forcing PRINCESS CAVALLO out on to the hind quarters of MYMMING, causing that horse to commence to lay in. Stewards agreed when laying in MYMMING had had a bearing on the incident, however was not considered the sole contributor to the incident.
