Race 1: Neil Mansell Concrete Maiden H’cap – 1400m
 
CAIRNSY – Reared over behind the barriers. Examined by the veterinary surgeon and cleared to start. Slow to begin and took no competitive part in the race.   A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be lame in the  off hind leg. 
 
HEAR NO EAGLE – Raced wide. Laid in in the home straight.
 
ENTERPRISE CARA – Jockey A. Fancourt reported her mount overraced badly in the early stages  and had to be checked from heels near the 1200m.  She advised that, in her opinion, the filly  would benefit from the removal of blinkers. Jockey Fancourt also stated that the horse got its tongue over the bit at times during the event and recommended to connections to experiment with the use of a tongue-tie prior to its next race start.
 
WITHERING – Obliged to alter course in the home straight to secure clear running.
 
JOYMAKER – A post race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the off-side hock.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Race 2: Garrards Pty Ltd CG&E Benchmark 65 H’cap – 1200m
 
ROTHFORD – Slow to begin.
 
GUN BOLT – Hung in over the concluding stages.
 
ENTERPRISE MOSS – A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse to have bled from one nostril during the event. Connections were advised that the horse must gallop 1000m before stewards prior to racing again.
 
 
Race 3: Placemat (Kitchenware) Open H’cap  - 1200m
 
ALLKNIGHT SAINT – Inclined to lay in under pressure in the straight.
 
TOP TONE – Jockey L. Cassidy reported to stewards the gelding travelled comfortably throughout the event however in the home straight proved disappointing when placed under pressure.  
 
Following this race the track rating was upgraded to Soft 5.
 
 
Race 4: Aspire Estate Agents Maiden H’cap  4yo & Up – 1000m
 
TEKKEN WARRIOR – Slow to begin.
 
FEARLESS QUEEN – Raced greenly in the middle stages.
 
STRADA GRANDE – Heavily bumped passing the 400m and forced wider by ON THE BOSSA NOVA.  R. Maloney, rider of ON THE BOSSA NOVA, was reprimanded for this incident. Raced wide without cover.
 
CHAMPAGNE PARTY – Raced wide.
 
PENTAFORMANCE – Raced greenly throughout the event.
 
 
Race 5: Glass FX QTIS 3yo Maiden Plate – 1000m
 
DRAGON PINS – Trainer N. McCall was fined $100 for failing to declare a rider for the horse by the prescribed time.   Jumped away awkwardly and lost ground. Inconvenienced by another runner near the 300m. Jockey J. Orman reported his mount raced greenly throughout.
 
ENTERPRISE LOUISE – Attempted to buck shortly after the start and lost significant ground.  Trainer M. Lakey was advised that the horse must trial satisfactorily prior to starting again.
 
AMANTIS – Slow to begin.
 
SHOW DECK – Tightened for room on jumping away and lost ground. Overraced in the early stages and improved onto heels near the 600m and had to be checked.  Inconvenienced by another runner approaching the 200m.
 
RAPID ACE – Jumped away awkwardly and bumped another runner.
 
BIT OF ALRIGHT – Slow to begin. Raced wide without cover.  Whilst weakening inconvenienced by another runner near the 200m.
 
PETRA’S SPIRIT – Jumped away awkwardly and lost ground.
 
ACEME – Raced wide without cover.
 
GOLDSAY – Raced wide.
 
LOVE SQUIRRELS – Raced wide without cover.
 
 
Race 6: Coastal Flooring XTRA Class 4 H’cap – 1400m
 
GLEN ORD – Slow to begin.
 
EVOLO – Slow to begin. Raced wide during the early stages. Shifted out to avoid the heels of COURAGEOUS ROCK  near the 400m. Bumped with another runner near the 350m.
 
STAR SILK – Slow to begin. Bumped by another runner near the 350m.  
 
SAIL THE  STARS – Raced wide throughout.
 
 
Race 7: John Burgess Electrical Fillies & Mares Benchmark 65 H’cap – 1200m
 
MISS BENETEAU – Slow to begin.
 
MISS DEFIANCE – Slow to begin.  Hung out from the 800m and obliged to alter course near the 200m when placed in restricted room.
 
ELLA DIVINE – Jumped away awkwardly.  A post race veterinary examination revealed signs of dehydration and a poor post-race recovery.
 
CHAMPAGNE DAISY – Steadied near the 1000m to avoid heels. Laid out under pressure in the home straight.
 
INDY SHOWGIRL – Steadied from heels near the 1000m.
 
 
 
 
Race 8: Number One Quality Homes Benchmark 65 H’cap – 1600m
 
TOAN THANG – Slow to begin.
 
SUBSOLAR – Slow to begin.
 
TREASURE GALLERY – Stood flatfooted at the start and lost significant ground. Trainer M. Mair was advised that a further barrier certificate would be required prior to its next race start.
 
BRUMBY JACK – Raced 3 wide without cover.
 
SCARLETT HUSSIE – Raced wide.
 
TACTICAL MANUEVER – Held up rounding the home turn.
