Race 1:  Turtle Beach Resort Maiden H’cap – 1200m
 
NALSSENDORI – Began awkwardly.  When the pace slackened after passing the 900m improved onto heels near the 800m and had to be checked.
 
AROSEFORZOU – Began awkwardly.
 
SONO DOLCE – Began awkwardly and then was bumped shortly after the start. Obliged to steady from heels after passing the 600m. Had some difficulty securing clear running in the early stages of the home straight.
 
FRENCH OCEAN – Hung out passing the 900m and then raced 3 wide without cover. Raced greenly when placed under pressure after passing the 400m.
 
REPULSE – Improved onto heels near the 700m and had to be steadied.  Had some difficulty securing clear running  in the early stages of the  home straight.
 
FORENSIC AUDITOR – Forced wider passing the 400m.
 
COMZELADY – Raced 4 wide without cover.
 
SPOOLING – Raced 3 wide with cover.
 
CRAIGLEA DANIEL – Jumped awkwardly and was inconvenienced shortly after the start, having to be steadied. Raced 3 wide with cover.  Sustained a laceration to its off hind hock.
 
HEART OF LAURIE – Laid in badly throughout the event, placing its rider at a disadvantage over the final 400m.  Trainer D. Murphy was advised that the horse must officially trial prior to racing again. 
 
GLAM ROCK – Following the event, jockey H. Phillips reported that, in her opinion, the horse resented the tongue-tie, and that it would be the intention of connections to remove it prior to its next race start.
 
 
Race 2:  Guide Dogs Queensland Class 4 H’cap – 1200m
 
KITTY DAMOUR – Began awkwardly.
 
PURE PULSE – Began awkwardly and shifted out.
 
ENTERPRISE MARCH – Shortly after the start bumped heavily with  THE PINES, and then was hampered between that runner and  PURE PULSE and lost ground.
 
THE PINES – Buffeted between runners shortly after the start. Jockey R. Maloney reported as a result of this he was obliged to settle further back in the field then he would have liked.
 
 
Race 3:  Clayton’s Towing Service Maiden Plate – 1800m
 
SIR PELLIAS – Began awkwardly.  Placed in restricted room after passing the 600m and was buffeted between runners and lost ground. Jockey L. Tarrant, rider of INCREDIBELLE, was reprimanded for shifting ground when not sufficiently clear. 
 
GRUMBLE - Had difficulty securing clear running from the 500m until leaving the 300m and was obliged to alter course on 2 occasions.
 
PAGEN FLOKI – Slow to begin.
 
JOY’S REWARD – Overraced in the early stages. Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.
 
TAVAHART – Raced 3 wide with cover throughout.
 
 
Race 4:  Lallemand Animal Nutrition Class 2 H’cap – 1800m
 
TYCOON PLAYER – The start was delayed when jockey N. Thomas was dislodged en route to the barriers. After cantering for some distance was returned to the barriers,  examined by the veterinary surgeon and cleared to start. Laid in approaching the 500m, clipped the heels of FELZONE  and blundered badly, losing ground as a result.
 
NIATROSS – Placed in restricted room near the 500m and had to be steadied.
 
ELLEOFADEEL – After being held up rounding the home turn and having difficulty obtaining clear running in the early stages of the home straight, clipped the heels of FELZONE near the 300m and blundered badly. Lost its near hind plate in running.
 
NYMERIA – Approaching the 600m when attempting to shift out to secure clear running, bumped heavily with another runner and bumped and became awkward.
 
LUCY LE ROC – Bumped heavily by another runner approaching the 600m and became unbalanced as a result.
 
HOLLY’S SONG – Was obliged to alter course to secure clear running near the 350m after being disappointed for a run.
 
TRAINSPOTTING – Held up for clear running  in the home straight approaching the 300m and was obliged to alter course to secure clear running approaching the 200m.
 
RISEUPSKATING – Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.
 
 
Race 5:  Beerwah Hideaway F&M Class 1 H’cap – 1000m
 
The start of this race was delayed due to the significant delay with the previous event.
 
STEPPED IN PAINT - Began awkwardly and made contact with the barrier partition and then was bumped by  HONEY BABY.
 
HONEY BABY – Began awkwardly and shifted out.
 
QUEEN OF THE NIGHT – Slow to begin and then was inconvenienced shortly after the start.  Raced greenly throughout.
 
LOTS OF PROMISE – Jumped away very awkwardly, blundered and lost ground. Raced 4 wide without cover.
 
WISHFILLY – Raced 3 wide with cover.
 
MINI MOUNTAIN – Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.
 
 
Race 6:  Myer Colts, Geldings and Entires Class 1 H’cap - 1000m
 
MORION – Began awkwardly.
 
KING ALFONSO – Slow to begin. When asked to comment on the performance of the horse, jockey T. Marshall indicated despite his efforts in the first 400m the horse could not muster any speed and as a result was tailed off. He did however add the horse was doing its best work over the concluding stages. He indicated to stewards that there did not appear to be anything amiss with the horse and felt the horse’s racing manners in the early stages could perhaps be attributed to the horse having its first start under lights.  Trainer’s representative C. Wearne undertook to report to stewards anything that comes to light that may have had a bearing on the performance.
 
COOK IT CHARLIE – Began awkwardly and shifted in, bumping DYNAMIC VERSE. Laid in during the early stages.
 
DYNAMIC VERSE – Bumped at the start. Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.
 
CRAIGLEA ALTONA – Was steadied form heels approaching the 600m.

 
Race 7:  GDQ Friends For Life QTIS 3yo Maiden H’cap - 1000m
 
WOODLEY’S GOLD – Trainer B. Wakefield was fined $100 for failing to declare a rider for the horse by the prescribed time.  When the ear muffs were unable to be applied to the colt, stewards gave permission for the horse to race without this gear. A public announcement was made to this effect.
 
ENTERPRISE ASVA – Began awkwardly and bumped MOON BOOM.
 
MOON BOOM – Bumped at the start.
 
ANGELIC ARCHER – Began awkwardly and shifted in, bumping CRAIGLEA HUSKY.
 
CRAIGLEA HUSKY – Bumped at the start and lost ground.  After being placed in restricted room near the 800m then became very awkward when inclined to lay in and then continued to race awkwardly for the remainder of the event and finished a distant last. Raced 3 wide without cover.
 
CANNY SKATE – Bumped on jumping away. Raced 4 wide in the early and middle stages. Raced greenly throughout.
 
TEMUJIN LASS – Began awkwardly and shifted in, making heavy contact with the hind quarters of CANNY SKATE  and lost ground.
 
JOMERA – Jumped awkwardly and had to be steadied from heels.
