Trainer P. Jenkins reported that PICKA PLUMB hung out noticeably in the home straight. A post race veterinary examination  revealed the horse to be sore in the near foreleg, which may have had a bearing on the performance that day.

Race 1:  Mellington Smash Repairs Maiden Plate – 1000m
 
DEEP STATE – Jumped away awkwardly and shifted in, bumping OVE YA BLUE.
 
LOVE YA BLUE – Bumped at the start.
 
THREEPOINT MISSILE – Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.
 
 
Race 2:  Equine Vet Meds QTIS 3yo Maiden H’cap – 1000m
 
FLAMING SHOTS -  Slow to begin.
 
MEMEMORIAL DAY  – Raced wide in the early stages. Blundered near the 500m.  After passing the 200m had to be checked when tightened by MORE THAN LIKELY, which was taken out by DEEP SORROW, which shifted out abruptly.  Raced wide throughout. 
 
BOBBIE JO -  Began awkwardly. Taken wider near the 400m by BUCKETS OF PRIDE, which shifted out slightly to obtain clear running.  Had to alter course approaching the 100m to avoid the heels of MEMORIAL DAY.  Raced wide without cover.
 
JULIETTE STREET – Taken wider near the 400m by BUCKETS OF PRIDE, which shifted out slightly to obtain clear running. 
 
SCOTISH MIST - Taken wider near the 400m by BUCKETS OF PRIDE, which shifted out slightly to obtain clear running. 
 
DEEP SORROW – Shifted out abruptly from  DON’TDIE WONDERING  inside the 200m.
 
BUCKETS  OF PRIDE – Raced wide in the early stages without cover.
 
MOMEMORY –  Raced greenly throughout.
 
SHE’S WINNIE BLUE – Held up approaching the home turn.    
 
 
 
Race 3:  Driveway Drinks Rhodes Plate Class 2 H’cap – 1000m
 
CONQUER MEE – Slow to begin.
 
TEAGZ – Slow to begin.
 
MITTERE –  Shifted out under pressure inside the 100m before being corrected. Raced wide throughout.
 
ALL STARS  – Raced 3 wide throughout.
 
 
Race 4: Kendrick Racing Class 4 H’cap – 1200m
 
STEELZ TIME – Became loose in the enclosure before being quickly recaptured. The gelding was  examined by the veterinary surgeon and cleared to start. Slow to begin.
 
CHAZELLES – Knuckled soon after the start and lost ground. A post race veterinary examination revealed the mare had quartered both fore heels during the race.
 
FACTORY WARRIOR – Jumped awkwardly and made contact with the barrier partition.
 
 
 
 
Race 5:  Stamford Stables Paul Jenkins Maiden H’cap – 1400m
 
GRUMBLE – Declared a late scratching at 2.15 pm on veterinary advice after becoming cast in its float en route to the track.  
 
ITSALLKAY – Slow to begin.   When the pace steadied passing the 1000m commenced to overrace and had to be restrained from the heels of WILCARUISE.  Continued to overrace in the middle stages and near the 600m shifted out abruptly and then hung out rounding the home turn.  Trainer K. Loy was advised the  horse would be required to compete satisfactorily in  an official prior to racing again.  Miss Lloyd will consider removing the blinkers for future race starts.  
 
WILCARUISE – Near the 1000m was tightened for room by CABOCHON, which shifted in slightly before being corrected.
 
SLENDER MAN – Was taken wider near the 600m and rounding the home turn by ITSALLKAY, which hung out.
 
NITROGLYCERINE – Held up in the home straight until near the 250m and altered course to the outside of  ARCHERESS in order to improve.
 
SLAVE TO THE GRIND – Raced 3 wide without cover.
 
LADY JEUNE – Raced wide throughout.
 
ZEDGE – Raced wide throughout.
 
QUOTANT – A post race veterinary examination revealed the mare had bled from both nostrils during the event.  Connections were advised that the mare would barred from racing for a period of 3 months and must  galloped satisfactory over 1000m in the presence of  stewards prior to racing again.
 
 
Race 6: Austack Produce Sunshine Coast Benchmark 78 H’cap – 1400m
 
BEL BURGESS – Slow to begin.
 
BOLD WARRIOR – Overraced in the early stages.
 
CAPE WICKHAM – Was inclined to lay out when placed under pressure in the straight.
 
CORAL BAY – Hung in under pressure in the home straight.
 
LEGAL COUNSEL – A post race veterinary examination of the horse which weakened badly in the home straight, failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.  
 
 
 
Race 7: Hansen Racing Class 1 Plate – 1200m
 
AURORA CHARM –  Jockey M. McGillivray reported that following the race he felt the horse may have chocked down and this contributed to the gelding  weakening over the final stages.   A post race veterinary examination  revealed a poor recovery rate and recommended that the horse undergo an endoscopic examination  in the coming days.
 
DAVIDBOOM – Hampered at the start when tightened for room.  Leaving the 600m commenced to overrace and shifted out and had to be restrained from the heels of MIGHTY HEART and then shifted wider on the track.
 
LOVE YERS ALL – Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
 
Race 8: Happy 2020 From Austack Benchmark 68 H’cap – 1600m
 
BARBADOS STORM – Slow to begin.
