Due the abandonment of the Ballina meeting, the starting times for this meeting were amended as follows-

As App. M Wishart was indisposed and Jockey N Thomas was serving a suspension, rider replacements were made as per the Stewards Summary.
 
Race 1: WIMMERS PREMIUM SOFT DRINKS Maiden Handicap 1800 metres
 
ELEGANT DROVER – Over-raced in the early stages.
 
DOUBLE BARRELL- Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight proving difficult to ride out.
 
THORBEN- Over-raced during the early and middle stages.
 
Race 2: VALE REG HUXHAM Class 4 Handicap 1000 metres
 
SHE'S A MITZY– Jumped in the air at the start.
 
IMA TEAMBOY- Hung out for the majority of the event.
 
BLUE COMET- Slow to begin, then failed to muster early speed taking no competitive part in the event. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off hind leg. Trainer T Thomas was advised he would be required to obtain a Veterinary Certificate for the gelding prior to next racing.
 
ZUMIKON- Steadied when awkwardly placed at heels near the 800m. Laid in under pressure in the early stages of the home straight.
 
 
Race 3: TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY OPEN Handicap 1000 metres
 
THE GREAT BOOMBINO- Began awkwardly. Bumped shortly after the start.  
 
Following the running of this event the track was upgraded to a Soft 5.

Race 4: SKY RACING QTIS Three-Years-Old Maiden Plate 1000 metres
 
JUST SO FANCY- After dislodging its rider during the preliminary and galloping a considerable distance riderless, was declared a late scratching by order of Stewards acting on Veterinary advice at 2:38pm. Upon the declaration of correct weight, Stewards ordered that all monies invested on JUST SO FANCY be refunded with the following deductions to apply-
 
1st – 5 cents the win, 6 cents the place
2nd- 4 cents the place
3rd- 9 cents the place.
 
Trainer J Johnson, was advised the filly would be required to officially barrier trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to next racing.
 
ADONISEA- Began awkwardly making contact with another runner.
 
BRINGTHELOVE- Bumped on jumping and as a consequence shifted out abruptly losing ground. Raced 4 wide without cover for the majority of the event.
 
CLAIRVUE JET- Began awkwardly making contact with another runner.
 
JUST A PATSY- Bumped on jumping. Hung in for the majority of the event and was steadied when awkwardly placed at heels in the early stages of the home straight.
 
KING OF THE COAST- Began awkwardly.
 
ELA BEACH- Bumped on jumping. Bumped on the hindquarters near the 300m and became unbalanced.
 
JUST GIGI- Bumped on jumping away.
 
RADIANT ROMANCE- Tightened for room near the 300m and was eased when COUNTRY SHOWGIRL shifted out to secure clear running. Jockey Fradd the rider of COUNTRY SHOWGIRL was advised to exercise more care.
 
Race 5: MARTIN COLLINS AUSTRALIA Maiden Handicap 1300 metres
 
EASY RUBY- Declared a late scratching by order of Stewards on Veterinary advice at 1:45pm after being found to be lame in the near fore leg on arrival to the course. Trainer S Kendrick was advised that he would be required to obtain a Veterinary Certificate for the filly prior to next racing.
 
BULL DIMPLE RUM- After beginning only fairly, was tightened shortly after the start and lost ground.
 
COULOMB- Began awkwardly.
 
BLAZE SEVEN- Slow into stride.
 
BOHEMIAN BOOM- Raced ungenerously whilst being restrained in the early stages, and near the 900m improved onto heels and shifted to a 3 wide position. As a consequence, raced wide without cover for the remainder. Laid in for the majority of the event.
 
JENO- Raced wide with cover for the majority.
 
MARCHEKY BOY- Raced wide with cover for the majority.
 
GENTLE PRINCE- Raced wide with cover for the majority.
 
 
Race 6: XXXX DRY Fillies and Mares BM58 Handicap 1200 metres
 
DEVILLAIN- Began awkwardly.
 
KRUSTALLOS- Shifted out abruptly when placed under pressure in the straight.
 
WEARETENFORTYEIGHT- Raced 3 wide without cover for the majority of the event.
 
LIGHT OF ULURU- Tightened for room shortly after the start and lost ground.
 
QIJI BELLEZZA- Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
INDUCEMENT- Jockey M Hellyer was fined $500 for using his whip excessively during the event, that being on 16 occasions.
 
 
 
Race 7: BUTLER MCDERMOTT LAWYERS Colts, Geldings and Entires BM58 Handicap 1200 metres
 
SHINSHINTO- Trainer D Murphy was fined $100 for failing to declare a rider by the prescribed time. As J Huxtable was not attending due to transport difficulties he was replaced as the rider of the gelding by J Bayliss. Began awkwardly.
 
YOU'RE NEXT- Trainer advised Stewards it was the intention to ride the gelding back in the field if circumstances permit. Subsequently settled in a midfield position.
 
LESHRAC- Raced ungenerously with its head in the early whilst being restrained in the early stages. Over raced in the early and middle stages.  Raced wide with cover throughout.
 
BOUNTY HUNTER- Raced wide without cover for the majority.
 
ROCK ON DESTINY- Difficult to load. A warning was issued against the gelding’s barrier manners. Tightened for room shortly after the start losing ground. Near the 900m raced in restricted room to the inside of RAINS APLENTY which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider. Leaving the 900m, checked when placed in restricted room to the inside of RAINS A PLENTY which shifted in when racing ungenerously to avoid the heels of HEAVENLY ARCHER which was eased when the pace of the race steadied.
 
HEAVENLY ARCHER- Steadied from heels near the 700m.
 
I AM CLEVER- Tightened for room at the start losing ground.
 
RAINS APLENTY- Laid in in the early and middle stages. A Post race veterinary examination revealed a minor laceration to the off hind leg, consistent with having been galloped on.
 
 
Race 8: PARKLANDS TAVERN Class 1 Handicap 1400 metres
 
NOKONDI- Trainer L White was fined $100 for failing to declare a rider by the prescribed time.
 
ENSENADA- Trainer M Taylor was fined $100 for failing to declare a rider by the prescribed time. Tightened for room at the start and lost ground. Raced 4 wide without cover throughout.
 
FLENSBURG- Raced 3 wide with cover for the majority.
 
ROACCI- Tightened for room at the start. Near the 1100m, bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced.
 
LOOKS LIKE- Raced in restricted room near the 300m and was eased.
 
ONE MORE CAST- Raced 3 wide with cover for the majority.
 
MANDEVILLE ROCKER- Tightened for room and checked near the 200m. At a subsequent inquiry Jockey G Cartwright was found guilty of a charge of careless riding under AR131(a) in that as the rider of KAAYDEH she permitted her mount to shift out whilst being ridden along at that point of the race when insufficiently clear of MANDEVILLE ROCKER resulting in that runner being tightened for room and checked. Jockey Cartwright’s license to ride in races was suspended for a period of 10 days commencing midnight 23/07/21, the expiration date of a prior suspension already incurred, and to expire at midnight 2/08/21.
 
STRICTLY PHYSICAL- Raced 3 wide without cover for the majority.
 
CARTIAIR- Trainer C Munce was fined $100 for failing to declare a rider by the prescribed time. Tightened for room at the start and lost ground. Bumped on the hindquarters.
 
FI FI NO FUSS- Stewards accepted the explanation tendered by Trainer J Healy in relation to the late rider declaration.
 
COLLATERAL JOY- Tightened for room at the start. Raced 3 wide with cover for the majority. Jockey L Cassidy was fined $300 for returning to scale overweight.
 
SHEZABEANS- Raced keenly in the early stages.
