T Brooker advised instructions were to go back from the wide barrier and ride the horse conservatively as OUR ROCKETMAN possesses a short sprint which were tactics issued as confirmed by trainer N McCall. Ms Brooker added she was reluctant to pressure OUR ROCKETMAN in the early stages and it was for this reason the horse settled at the rear of the field, and further stated near the 250m she elected to shift to the inside of LE WEASEL after that runner commenced to weaken. After viewing the patrol footage and considering the explanations of both T Brooker and N McCall, Stewards advised T Brooker in their opinion her actions in the early stages of the race were reasonable, however were of the belief she had erred between the 600m and 400m by not pressuring her mount in an attempt to improve at that stage of the race.
