Race 1: MARTIN COLLINS AUSTRALIA QTIS TWO-YEAR-OLD HANDICAP       1000 Metres
 
On entering the entering the mounting enclosure, CUDDLES FOR KIMMY shifted the off fore plate resulting in a nail puncturing the filly’s sole, and was scratched on veterinary advice at 12.10pm. Prior to the declaration of correct weight, Stewards ordered that all bets placed on CUDDLES FOR KIMMY be refunded with the following deductions to apply:
 
1st LUVA FLUTTA 8c win, 6c place
2nd EGYPTIAN GODDESS 12c place
3rd FORMULA ROSA 9c place
 
LUVA FLUTTA – Raced wide throughout.
 
MISHANI EXTREME – Raced greenly during the early and middle stages. Shifted out near the 200m. Raced greenly when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
EGYPTIAN GODDESS – Slow to begin then bumped shortly afterwards. Raced greenly during the early and middle stages. Raced wide throughout. A post race veterinary examination revealed a minor laceration to the near hindleg.  
 
EMJAY STAR – Bumped shortly after the start. Steadied at the 200m, when tightened for room between MISHANI EXTREME and TILIA which both shifted ground.
 
FORMULA ROSSA – Began awkwardly. Raced wide throughout. Held up for clear running entering the home straight. Raced greenly when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
MADDIE'S COMET – Slow to begin. Raced greenly during the early and middle stages.
 
SHEMAKESMENERVOUS – Raced greenly during the early and middle stages. Held up for clear running on entering the home straight. A post race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the near fore heel bulb.  
 
TILIA – Shifted in under pressure in the home straight. Apprentice E. Lang reported that her mount raced greenly when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
 
Race 2: GOLD BULLION AUSTRALIA BENCHMARK 78 HANDICAP        1600 Metres
 
The start of this race was delayed when EVOCATOR required farrier attention on arrival at the barriers.
 
EXOTIQUE MISS – Over raced when the pace of the race slackened near the 1200m.
 
WAIRERE FALLS (NZ) – Shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages.  
 
BULLION BOY – Laid in under pressure in the early stages of the home straight.
 
EVOCATOR – Slow to begin.
 
GOLDEELUCK – Began awkwardly.
 
THE HUNGARIAN – Slow to begin.  
 
AERIAL DANCER – Shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages.  
 
INDY ROSE WARRIOR (NZ) – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
 
Race 3: TRAVIS SCHULTZ & PARTNERS BENCHMARK 85 HANDICAP       1200 Metres
 
I AM ARTIE – Held up for clear running on entering the home straight.
 
RALPHIE – Raced wide throughout.
 
BEWS – Began awkwardly and lost ground. Apprentice C. Collis lost the use of his offside rein approaching the 50m before regathering.
 
TARA JASMINE – Hampered on jumping. Raced wide with cover throughout.  
 
FASTCONI – Steadied near the 500m when disappointed for a run to the outside of I AM ARTIE which shifted out to improve.  
 
 
Race 4: HIGGINS COATINGS BENCHMARK 68 HANDICAP       1800 Metres
 
MAJORIAN – Raced wide until the 1200m.
 
RING BEARER – Held up for clear running approaching the home turn.
 
ICHIBAN – Slow to begin.
 
MISS CHENERY – Laid in under pressure approaching the 100m.
 
KERKORIAN – Began awkwardly. Raced wide until the 1200m. Jockey J. Bayliss reported to connections that the gelding may benefit from the addition of blinkers.
 
JEALOUS – Slow to begin. Laid in under pressure approaching the 100m. Jockey M. Du Plessis was fined $100 under AR132(7)(a)(i) for using his whip on consecutive occasions prior to the 100m.
 
TOOLATEMATE – Approaching the 600m, improved onto the heels of RING BEARER and became awkwardly placed at the runners’ heels for some distance.
 
 
 
Race 5: INNOVATIVE PLANNING SOLUTIONS CLASS 3 PLATE         1400 Metres
 
BILLIONAIR BABY – Steadied approaching the 1000m. Shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages.  Held up for clear running rounding the home turn. Shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages. Jockey M. Du Plessis was reminded of his obligations when shifting ground in future.
 
CASTILLIAN (NZ) – Raced in restricted room approaching the 500m. Approaching the 100m, inconvenienced when awkwardly placed to the outside of BILLIONAIR BABY. Cast the off fore plate in running.  
 
I AM A MARVEL – Approaching the 250m, shifted out and had to be corrected by its rider.
 
MISS JOELENE – Laid out under pressure in the home straight.
 
CLUEDO (NZ) – Raced keenly approaching the 900m and had to be steadied from heels. Raced wide with cover from the 800m.
 
MAXIE TAP (NZ) – Slow to begin. Raced keenly approaching the 900m. Raced wide throughout.
 
 
Race 6: LANDMARK RESORT & SPA CLASS 6 PLATE        1400 Metres
 
HOOKS (NZ) – A post race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery.
 
AMERICAN PRESIDENT – Began awkwardly. Laid out under pressure whilst weakening. A post race veterinary examination revealed a minor laceration to the off side hip.
 
NAVAL TRADER – Rounding the home turn held up when awkwardly placed on the heels of the weakening HOOKS, shifted out and contacted REDFORD, then held up and obliged to steady approaching the 250m.
 
RED TOP – Bumped on jumping.
 
LARRIKIN ROGUE – Change of tactics – to be ridden more forward if circumstances permit. Slow to begin and consequently settled in a rearward position. Bumped and became unbalanced rounding the home turn. Rider D. Thornton reported that the gelding didn’t appreciate the heavy track conditions. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be displaying symptoms of heat stress.  
 
 
Race 7: THE DOCK MOOLOOLABA QTIS 3YO QUALITY HANDICAP       1400 Metres
 
BEAU DAZZLER (NZ) – Began very awkwardly and shifted in. Bumped with MOON SWEEPER turning into the home straight.
 
CAN'T RECALL ONE (NZ) – Began awkwardly and lost ground.
 
APUNTAR – Slow to begin.
 
MISHANI ECLIPSE – Bumped at the start. Over raced during the early stages. A post race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
 
MOON SWEEPER – Bumped with BEAU DAZZLER leaving the 400m. When asked to comment on the performance, jockey A. Mallyon reported that from the wide barrier he was obliged to race back in the field, adding that the gelding lost its action approaching the home turn due to the heavy track conditions, however, once balanced up in the home straight, finished the race off well. In addition, he stated he wasn’t disappointed in the performance given the step up in class from its previous start in Maiden grade.  
 
PIERATA'S GEM – Began awkwardly and bumped shortly afterwards.  
 
 
 
Race 8: TAB MOOLOOLABA CUP       1600 Metres
 
JUNIPAL – Held up for clear running on entering the home straight. Leaving the 200m, brushed by ENCODER.
 
WAPITI - Momentarily held up at the 150m before shifting in approaching the 100m to secure clear running.
 
BROOKHAVEN – Approaching the 300m, obliged to shift out to secure clear running. Apprentice T. Fenlon’s license to ride in races was suspended for seven days under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using her whip on seven occasions prior to the 100m, and sixteen times in totality. Stewards ordered the suspension to commence at midnight the 23rd of November 2024 and ending midnight the 30th of November 2024. Ms Fenlon was advised of her right of appeal.
 
LINTHORPE LAD – When asked to comment, jockey T. Marshall reported that the gelding race flat today. Trainer K. Kemp reported that he will consider sending LINTHORPE LAD for a spell.
 
ENCODER – Raced wide with cover throughout. Laid in under pressure leaving the 200m.
 
KERCHAK (NZ) – Raced wide throughout. Apprentice C. Collis was reprimanded under AR131(c) for making a celebratory gesture prior to the winning post.   
 
THE DROVER – Blundered badly on jumping resulting in rider L. Tarrant almost being dislodged and losing his whip and control of his near side rein. Over raced during the middle stages. A post race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
 
 
 
Race 9: THE WHARF MOOLOOLABA SWISS ACE PLATE       1000 Metres
 
CIFRADO – Slow to begin. Raced in restricted room shortly after the start and had to be steadied. Raced wide throughout.
 
ALL THAT PIZZAZZ – Raced wide throughout. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
STEADY READY – At the 300m, shifted out and brushed SUPER DAISY.
 
NETTUNO – Slow to begin. When asked to comment on the performance, jockey J. Orman reported that he was pleased with the run and as the gelding only had one trial, will likely take a fitness benefit from the run today.
 
SUPER DAISY – Began awkwardly. Approaching the 300m, was brushed by STEADY READY and became unbalanced.
 
 
 
Race 10: ARCHER PARK RACING QTIS THREE-YEAR-OLD HANDICAP      1000 Metres
 
MISHANI ALOHA – Slow to begin. When asked to comment, apprentice C. Collis reported that the filly didn’t feel entirely comfortable when placed under pressure in the home straight. A post race veterinary examination revealed a congested airway. Trainer D. Stanbridge was advised that MISHANI ALOHA will require a veterinary clearance including a endoscopic examination prior to racing again.
 
GIN A TONIC – Jockey M. Harley could offer no explanation for the disappointing performance. Trainer B. Laming reported that GIN A TONIC will now be gelded and go for a spell. A post race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
 
SHOWS A SIGN – Jockey L. Tilley reported that his mount failed to handle the heavy track conditions.
 
SILVA 'N' SUAVE – Bumped and raced in restricted room shortly after the start. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
BALASTIER – Raced wide throughout. Trainer A. Jones reported that the gelding raced too keenly. Trainer T. Gollan concurred with Ms Jone’s comments and that it was detrimental to the performance of BALASTIER. A post race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
 
MISHANI EGO – Raced wide throughout.
 
COSMIC FIRE – Raced wide throughout.
 
TERRITORY ASH – Began awkwardly resulting in its rider becoming unbalanced.
