Missen (RULER’S PRIDE) against IMMUTABLE (T. Treichel), being declared the winner alleging interference shortly after the start. After taking evidence from all parties and viewing, the patrol footage it was established that IMMUTABLE began awkwardly, shifting out and made minimal contact with RULER’S PRIDE. As stewards were of the view that although there was minimal contact between both runners, they could not be comfortable satisfied that the inference would have affected the outcome of the race.
