GENERAL
GENERAL: This meeting was conducted under the conditions of the Queensland Community Racing Scheme (QCRS). No Bookmakers or Photo Finish operated at this meeting. All starts were by means of a flag fall All riders who competed were licensed Approved Riders. All prizes were in the form of trophies only.

Race 1: LERIDA LOADER MAIDEN PLATE. (Set Weights). 1000 Metres. ( 7 Starters).
1st - HAPPY HOOLIGAN 2nd - JAZMINE 3rd - SMITHIES MILLIONS 4th - BOLD OUTLOOK.

Outback THRILL (B. Sheard) lost considerable ground at the start and raced wide rounding the home turn.

JAZMINE (J. Dagan) and BOLD OUTBACK (J. Connolly) each raced wide rounding the 600 metre turn.

SIMONE‘N’FAITH (D. Owens) raced wide rounding the home turn.


Race 2: RISING SUN HONDA RESTRICTED TROPHY 2. (Set Weights). 1000 Metres. ( 6 Starters).
1st - FRAARDAKE 2nd - SOVEREIGN PEAK 3rd - OCTA DUCK 4th - LITTLE FEATHER

I’VE GOT STYLE (B. Sheard) was fractious immediately prior to the start and then raced wide rounding the home turn.

OCTA DUCK (T. Delahunty) raced wide rounding the home turn.


Race 3: PENLAN RESTRICTED TROPHY 4. (Set Weights) 1000 Metres. (DIVISION “A) ( 4 Starters)
1st JUNINHO 2nd - FRAARCAS 3rd - MASCARA GIRL 4th – BURRA BLU

THIS RACE WAS DIVIDED INTO TWO DIVISIONS OWING TO ELEVEN ACCEPTORS AND ONLY EIGHT RIDERS IN ATTENDANCE AT THE MEETING. .

BURRA BLU (R. Williams) was slow away, was taken wide by MASCARA GIRL (B. Sheard) rounding the 600 metre turn and travelled wide rounding the home turn.



Race 4: AMBO OPEN TROPHY RACE. (Set Weights). 800 Metres. ( Starters).
1st - ISABELLA ESTHER 2nd - PALOLO DEEP 3rd - WELL EQUIPPED 4th - BURRA ACTION

TOTARA LASS (D. Owens) was slow into stride and raced wide rounding the home turn.

BURRA ACTION (R. Williams) raced wide rounding the home turn.


Race 5: KATE WEDGEWOOD MEMORIAL OPEN TROPHY RACE. (Set Weights). 1200 Metres.
(DIVISION “A) ( 7 Starters).
1st - WESTERN RUN 2nd - MISS CHANCESXAAR v 3rd - ZATHURA 4th - KOMO LAD

THIS RACE WAS DIVIDED INTO TWO DIVISIONS OWING TO ELEVEN ACCEPTORS ASND ONLY EIGHT RIDERS IN ATTENDANCE AT THE MEETING.

A Veterinary Certificate under the provisions of AR45B (horses 12 years and older) was provided in respect of STAR REVUNDO allowing the gelding to start in the race.

No incidents in running..

Race 6: WILLY’S GIFT OPEN TROPHY RACE. (Set Weights). 1600 Metres. ( 6 Starters).
1st - VONMARKNDUNC 2nd - PIKESTAQFF 3rd - TEXAS FLOOD 4th - YAMADO

A Veterinary Certificate under the provisions of AR45B (horses 12 years and older) was provided in respect of STAR ANCHOR and YAMADO allowing the geldings start in the race.

Rounding the 1400 metre turn, AUTUMN BEATS (K. Connolly) shifted in and tightened STRAR ANCHOR (R. Williams) momentarily. Jockey Connolly was advised to exercise more care in future.

STAR ANCHOR and YAMADO (D. Owens) each rounded the home turn wide.


Race 7: N.Q. TOOLS SUPPLY JUMBO CONSOLATION OPEN TROPHY RACE. (Set Weights). 800 Metres.
( 3 Starters).
1st - VONSTA’S HEART 2nd - ABAGNALE 3rd - SPURS ”N’ ROSES

A Veterinary Certificate under the terms of AR 45B, (Horses aged 12 years and over), was provided in respect of ABAGNALE allowing that gelding to start in the race.

SPURS ”N’ ROSES (R. McIntosh) was slow into stride).


Race 8 PENLAN RESTRICTED TROPHY 4. (Set Weights) 1000 Metres. (DIVIUSION “B “ ( 5 Starters)
1st - MEDIUM ‘N’ RARE 2nd - LATOMATINA 3rd - FLAGPOST 4th - TORPEDO RUN
