.  No Bookmakers or Photo Finish operated at this meeting. All starts were by means of a flag fall and all riders who competed were licensed Approved Riders.  All prizes were in the form of trophies only.   
Race 1:  COLEMAN STOCK FEED MAIDEN PLATE.  (Set Weights).  800 Metres.
 
AMERICAN GENERAL – Slow to go and raced wide throughout.
SERIOUS CAPER -  Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
Race 2:  TOPX RESTRICTED TROPHY 3 (Set Weights).   800 Metres.

NOBLE THOUGHT – Began awkwardly.   Raced wide rounding the home turn.
DANSK HAVN - Raced wide rounding the home turn.
HAYYLER’S MOUNTAIN - Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
Race 3:  THE LOGAN FAMILY RESTRICTED TROPHY 4.  (Set Weights) 1200 Metres.

COWBOY’S GIRT - Slow to go and raced wide rounding the home turn.
THREERIVERSHOTEL - Shifted outwards sharply at the start inconveniencing HARVEY STAR.
HARVEY STAR - . Inconvenienced at start by THREERIVERSHOTEL when that runner shifted outwards abruptly.  Raced wide rounding the home turn.
BORN WILD  - Raced wide in the early stages. 
THE ALAMO  - Raced wide in the middle stages. 

 
Race 4:  BERYL OPEN TROPHY RACE.   (Set Weights).  800 metres.    
 
STYLISH SON – Late scratching at start when the rider (Ms J. Wehl was unseated in the preparation for the start and the gelding returned to the mounting yard.  In the circumstances no action was taken against then gelding.
DIAMOND HAY – Lost a considerable distance when slow to commence at the start.
 
 
 
 
Race 5:  TOWER HILL HILL BRACELET.  OPEN TROPHY RACE, Set Weights.  1400 Metres.
 
SUPERVISOR – Late scratching at barriers when the gelding dislodged rider (K. Connolly) in preparation for the start.  Trainer Mr. F Manwaring was advised the gelding must complete two (2) successful barrier trials before again racing.
TWINSPIER (NZ) Was being fractious in mounting yard and entering onto the track.  After removing  cross over nose band the gelding settled and raced satisfactorily.  Trainer’s representative advised to rectify the gear on the horse and a warning re pre race behaviour was issued.
FRASCATI MISS (NZ) – Began awkwardly.
GOLD SAY – Soon after the start shifted out under pressure and bumped with KING LANDON (NZ). 
KING LANDON (NZ) – Bumped by another runner soon after the start, approaching the 1250 metres shifted inwards tightening TWINSPIERS (NZ) for room and causing that runner to be eased. 
Rider D. Owens was advised to exercise more care. 
 
Race 6:  TONY & JAN  HETHERINGTON  RESTRICTED TROPHY 2.  (Set Weights).  1000 Metres.
 
SHERIFF KENDELL  - Slow to begin.
SARENDA  -  Raced wide for the majority. 
.     
 
Race 7:  A. E. RICHARDSON OPEN TROPHY RACE (Set Weights).  1000 Metres.
 
CRAIGLEA ALTISE – Slowly away and raced wide throughout. 
SUMMER LEA -  Slowly away and raced wide in the early stages. 
ARIGOLD – Raced wide rounding the home turn.
