GENERAL
 
On arriving on course Stewards underwent a track inspection with Club Officials, which raised some concerns towards the stability of the racing surface offered to facilitate the running of the races on the program for today`s race meeting.Stewards consulted with all parties as required within the Racing Queensland and QRIC Race Meeting Procedures - Thoroughbred Postponement or Abandonment Policy. Stewards also consulted with the available Trainers and Senior Jockeys who were participating in today`s event. After considering all options available to them Stewards, Trainers, Jockeys and Club Officials agreed in consultation with Racing Queensland that the safety concerns that had been expressed were unable to be remedied by the club. Subsequently the decision was made not to proceed with the meeting.
