In determining penalty stewards considered Appr Jky Stuart’s limited race riding experience, his forthright evidence and remorse in relation to this rule. Trainer C Storch advised Stewards that he was disappointed with the horse’s performance today and that NYTHE had been working well and he expected a forward showing. He acknowledged that he didn’t handle the racing conditions today and that once he got back it would be difficult for him to improve from there. Mr Storch was advised by Stewards that a Warning would be placed on the horse for its barrier manners. A post-race Vet examination was undertaken with no abnormalities being detected.
