Race 1: LONGHORN TRANSPORT MAIDEN PLATE 2 Y O & UP - 1000 metres
 
I’M A REBEL – Jumped away awkwardly, travelled wide in the early and middle stages and hung in down the home straight.
 
BRAYD HEART – Hung out rounding the home turn.
 
EXOH ONE – Slow away and slow into stride.
 
GYPSIES MISCHIEF – Resented the kickback and baulked at the dust dislodging jockey D. Rewald near the 400m. Jockey Rewald was treated by ambulance officials and cleared to continue riding.
 
 
Race 2: LANDMARK BM 65 HANDICAP - 1000 metres 
 
ISSY COMMAND – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
MADE AMENDS – Travelled wide for the majority.
 
DOS SANTOS – Slow to begin and raced ungenerously throughout. Jockey C. Bryen stated the gelding refused to stretch out. A post-race veterinary inspection showed the horse has jarred up on the track surface.
 
 
 
Race 3: SOUTHERN WIRE CLASS B HANDICAP - 1100 metres  
 
TRUE TIME – Travelled wide for the majority of the race.
 
PART THE SEA – Hung in down the home straight.
 
THE PONTSTER – Fractious in the barrier prior to jumping and was cleared by the veterinarian on course to race. Jumped outwardly.
 
CHIPOTLE – Jumped outwards.
 
SEA PRAISE – Lay over on the gates as the start was affected losing ground then travelled wide throughout.
 
Race 4: GEORGE BOURNE & ASSOCIATES GOLDEN CLASSIC QTIS CLASS 3 PLATE - 1200 metres  
 
BROWN CAVIAR – Jumped inwards.
 
REVERSE LOGIC – Travelled wide in the middle and late stages.
 
CANALASSO – Slow to begin as the inside gate was slow to open.
 
GESSNER – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
PUNISHING – Travelled wide for much of the event.
 
VANCOUVER STAR – Travelled wide for most of the event.
 
BAYSIDE BANDIT – Ducked in near the 900m contacting the inside running rail and hung in over the concluding stages.
 
CLASSIC WIND – Eased at the 1000m when outside runners shifted ground.
 
 
Race 5: BLACK TOYOTA TAMBO CUP OPEN HANDICAP - 1400 metres      
 
SAMMY SPARROW – Contacted heavily at the start when an outside runner jumped inwards.
 
SAN VINCENZO – Apprentice S. Tomlinson was fined $200 for his celebratory gesture prior to the winning post.
 
CRAWFISH – Jumped inwards heavily contacting an inside runner, travelled wide in the middle stages then hung in down the home straight.
 
ROYAL FROLIC – Travelled wide for much of the event.
 
SIPPIN’BUNDY – Over raced in the early stages.
 
 
Race 6: TURNBULL BM 60 HANCICAP – 1800 metres
 
MOHAKA RIVER – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
ITALIAN SON – Jumped inwards hampering an inside runner.
 
NORTHERN MAGIC – Hampered at the start when an outside runner jumped inwards and shifted in under pressure down the home straight.
 
BIG DON – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
ONE UP – Over raced in the early stages.
