Jockey J. Brand was indisposed for the day.  Jockey Brand was advised that she will need to provide a medical clearance prior to race riding.
 
 
Race 1: E.E. PARR MEMORIAL/NATIONAL JOCKEYS TRUST RATINGS BAND 0-45 HANDICAP - 1400 metres
 
BOLD TEMPTATION was a late scratching at 12:00pm as Jockey J. Brand was indisposed.
 
GRAVITY FORCE – Slow to begin and slow into stride, then travelled wide for the majority.
 
NORTHERN MAGIC – Lay in down the home straight.
 
RIDGES PRIDE – Jumped outwards.
 
OH NO NOT AGAIN – Slow to begin.
 
PARANA – Slow to begin and travelled wide for the majority with no cover.
 
PRINCE SILENCE – Slow to begin and travelled wide in the middle and late stages with cover.
 
 
Race 2: SOUTH WEST FORD NISSAN BM 65 HANDICAP - 1400 metres 
 
Jockey J. Rudd was the rider of BARBERANCE.
 
MISHANI CENTURION – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages.
 
BAYSIDE BANDIT – Travelled wide in the middle and late stages.
 
Jockey D. Rewald was reprimanded for his use of the whip on CHAMPAGNE TALES.
 
 
 
Race 3: HELEN SARGOOD MEMORIAL RATINGS BAND 0-60 HANDICAP - 1200 metres  
 
Jockey C. Bryen was the replacement rider for RHYTHM NATION.
 
HEZA CHUMLEY – Contacted at the start when an outside runner jumped awkwardly then travelled wide in the middle and late stages.
 
RHYTHM NATION – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages.
 
NOTHING TO DANCE – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages and held up for clear running in the home straight.
 
SHAKE HER BON BON – Slow to begin.
 
EQUAL RULER – Fractious prior to jumping, jumped away awkwardly bumping an inside runner.
 
HIDDEN ROAD – Fractious prior to jumping.
 
GESSNER – Slow to begin and slow into stride. Raced ungenerously throughout. Jockey Morton stated the gelding was reluctant to stretch out at all even after urging. A post-race veterinary inspection showed no abnormalities.
 
 
Race 4: TAMBO TAVERN/TAMBO CRICKET CLUB GREAT WESTERN SPRINT OPEN PLATE - 1100 metres  
 
No incidents in running.
 
 
Race 5: LANSDOWNE QTIS CLASS 1 PLATE - 1000 metres      
 
BOLD TRAVELLER and LEND ME A TENNER were late scratchings as there were no riders available.
 
BOUND TO ME – Slow to begin and travelled wide for much of the race.
 
CLEARWATER – Contacted at the start.
 
MAKE A MILLION – Contacted at the start and slow into stride.
 
WITHOUT DISSENT – Slow to begin.
 
SLIVER FOX – Jockey B. Richardson was fined $100 for her use of the whip.
 
WRITTEN GUARANTEE – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
DODGIES WAY – Jumped away awkwardly contacting inside runners.
