Race 1: BLACKALL TAMBO REGIONAL COUNCIL / NATIONAL JOCKEYS TRUST BM 45 HANDICAP - 1400 metres

INDELO – Travelled wide for much of the race, contacted at the 300m when an outside runner shifted ground.

THUNDER – Was fractious in the gates prior to jumping and reared on several occasions, jumped away awkwardly losing ground, travelling wide for much of the race and hung in down the home straight. Trainer H. Forster has asked for a head hold in the geldings next start and stewards have requested better barrier manners from the horse next start.

LORD RUSSEL – Jumped away awkwardly and slow into stride.


Race 2: SOUTH WEST FORD NISSAN BM 65 HANDICAP - 1400 metres

YEEZY – Declared a non-runner as the gates didn’t open. Deductions were announced with correct weight being 27 cents in the face value of the dollar in win bets and 29 cents in the face value of the dollar in place bets and all monies refunded on YEEZY.

CRAWFISH – Slow to begin and travelled wide for much of the race.

OUTBACK PIRATE – Hung out rounding the home turn.





Race 3: SOUTHERN WIRE BM 60 HANDICAP - 1200 metres

GHETTO BOY – Travelled wide for much of the race.

KURIL FOX – Raced into restricted room nearing the 800m and had to be eased losing some ground.

TOCCO D’ORO – Slow to begin.

SPUR WITH EASE – Slow into stride.

REBEL SAGA – Travelled wide for much of the race.


Race 4: LANSDOWNE STUD GREAT WESTERN SPRINT OPEN PLATE - 1100 metres

BUSH CAVIAR – Lay in down the home straight.

DRAYMAN – Over raced in the early stages.

BENCHI PEGASUS – Slow into stride.


Race 5: E.E. PARR O.B.E. MEMORIAL QTIS CLASS 1 PLATE - 1000 metres

WRITTEN GUARANTEE – Was a late scratching at 11.50am due to swelling in the nearside hind leg. Trainer P. Townsend was advised a veterinary certificate would be required prior to the gelding racing again.

FOR THE RECORDS – Jumped inwards contacting an inside runner.

LEO’S EXPRESS – Heavily contacted at the start when an outside runner jumped inwards.

LOGSPLITTER – Jumped inwards contacting another runner, travelled wide for much of the race.

WITHOUT DISSENT – Jumped outwards contacting another runner.

GOLDEN STREET – Contacted at the start when runners either side jumped awkwardly.

TENT LOVER – Slow into stride, travelled wide for much of the race and finished tailed off.

WILD JUSTICE – Slow to begin and travelled wide for much of the race.
