Race 1: WOODHAM PETROLEUM MAIDEN PLATE 2-Y-O & UP. (1000M)
 
JUNGLELAND – resented the kickback in the early and middle stages. Jockey Cheryl Rogers pleaded guilty to a charge under the terms of AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using the whip on 9 occasions prior to the 100 metres, 4 more than permitted. Jockey Rogers was fined the sum of $400.00.
 
BRIENNO BELLE – began awkwardly and as a result was slow into stride.
 
DIZZY DEVINE – over raced for some distance leaving the 500 metres, approaching the 350 metres shifted out to avoid heels and was inclined to hang in when under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
SPIRITUAL BELIEF – Jockey Tessa Townsend pleaded guilty to a charge under the terms of AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using the whip on 6 occasions prior to the 100 metres, 1 more than permitted. Jockey Townsend was issued with a reprimand.
 
 
Race 2: GERARD JOHNSON TRANSPORT OPEN Handicap (1000m)
 
MUIRON – bumped with EARLY PLEA at the start.
 
MISHANI OPERATOR – fractious prior to the start and as a result was slow away.
 
WINNEBA – shortly after the start was taken in by ASBURY PARK.
 
MR CRUISE – began awkwardly.
 
EARLY PLEA – bumped with MUIRON at the start and rider reported the saddle slipped shortly after. Trainer Leslie Baker pleaded guilty to a charge under the terms of AR106 for saddling the horse with the incorrect number. Trainer Baker was fined the sum of $200.00.
 
FLASH FIBIAN – approaching the 800 metres had to steady off heels and rider reported the saddle slipped near the 600 metres.
 
ASBURY PARK – ducked in sharply after the start bumping WIINEBA causing it to shift in.
 
ROOTS’N’ROCKS – rider reported the saddle slipped near the 800 metres. Trainer Paul Edwards pleaded guilty to a charge under the terms of AR106 for presenting the horse with the incorrect number. Trainer Edwards was fined the sum of $200.00. Apprentice Landan Sykes, was charged under the terms of AR143(14)(a&b) for failing to claim his full allowance. Jockey Sykes was fined the sum of $100.00.
Apprentice Landan Sykes was charged under the terms of LR48 for leaving the racecourse without Stewards permission. Jockey Sykes was fined the sum of $200.00.
 
 
Race 3: BILL ROGERS MEMORIAL GOLDEN CLASSIC QTIS CLASS 3 PLATE (1200m)
 
AVISION – slow away.
 
GAZZMAN – began awkwardly.
 
TELL THE WORLD – slow into stride raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
BITTERSWEET PLUCK – knuckled at the start.
 
BI TURBO – approaching the 800 metres shifted in and forced BIONIC inwards.
 
BIONIC – approaching the 800 metres was taken inwards by BI TURBO.
 
ELECTRIC SPIRIT – began awkwardly.
 
Race 4: NUTRIEN CLASS B HANDICAP (1400m)
 
 
AUSSIE MYTHOLOGY – approaching the 1350 metres shifted out and bumped HOT CHOCOLATE.
 
LONERGY – slow into stride.
 
THE SABBATH – began awkwardly, raced wide throughout and ducked in near the 200 metres. Trainer Monique Gavin made application to view the photo finish in regard to second and third placings and after doing so was satisfied with the judges semaphored numbers.
 
HOT CHOCOLATE – approaching the 1350 metres was tightened for room between AUSSIE MYTHOLOGY and JULIMA.
 
JULIMA – approaching the 1350 metres shifted in and bumped HOT CHOCOLATE.
 
Race 5: MT ENNISKILLEN TAMBO CUP/OUTBACK RACING SHOWCASE HEAT OPEN HANDICAP (1400m)
 
NICK THE SKIP – began awkwardly and raced wide throughout.
 
MONSIEUR MACRON – underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to be lame in the off fore. Trainer Cameron Dixon was advised that he would be advised he must produce a veterinary certificate of soundness before racing again.
 
ANCIENT ECHOES – began awkwardly.
 
DARK ARCHER – began awkwardly and raced wide throughout and finished the race well back. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
 
LEGEND OF ZORRO – was slow to begin and raced ungenerously throughout the race resenting the kickback.
 
SALAZAR – was slow into stride.
 
GRAND PALAZZO – Jockey Matthew Gray pleaded guilty to a charge under the terms of AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using the whip on 6 occasions prior to the 100 metres, 1 more than permitted. Jockey Gray was issued with a reprimand.
 
HEROISM – raced wide throughout.
 
Race 6: TURNBULL FAMILY BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP (1800m)
 
 
IMPACTFUL – slow away.
 
PACKAGE – slow away and shortly after was tightened for room between JERRY ZANDA and PHYLAVE. Approaching the 1200 metres was tightened for room when OUR YOUNG MAN stepped in for a stride.
 
PHYLAVE – raced wide in the early and middle stages.
 
STAMPEDE WARRIOR – jumped out at the start and raced wide in the early and middle stages.
 
JERRY ZANDA – over raced for some distance leaving the 1300 metres.
 
THE LANDING – began awkwardly.
 
AUVERGNE – laid in under pressure over the concluding stages and rider lost the reins near the 50 metres.
 
BAUHINIA BEANS – bumped with OUR YOUNG MAN at the start.
 
OUR YOUNG MAN – bumped with BAUHINIA BEANS at the start.
