Prior to declaration of correct weight, Stewards viewed the patrol film to ensure runners had not been denied a fair start. Jockey K Gates reported that while the barrier gate had been marginally slow, it had not affected the finishing position of MISS SATINE. Further, it was evident that the barrier of SOME IDEA was slow to open and had sprung back, however Jockey J Stephens reported his mount had been fractious in the barrier and had been slow to begin of its own accord. Acting on this and the observations of the patrol film, Stewards declared correct weight.

SHADA PAREE- Bumped heavily with another runner on jumping.

INFRANGIBLE- Bumped heavily with another runner on jumping.

TAFFALINA- Began awkwardly and dipped shortly after the start.
