Race 1: Biloela Quality Meats BM 60 Handicap 1075 metres
 
NELAMOS – Declared a late scratching at 11:15am due to no available rider.
 
MINTO’S LASS – Approaching the 800m, hung out, taking JEDDA’S GIRL outwards.
 
IT’S WANTED – Returned to the enclosure and observed to have bled from both nostrils. As this was the first occasion, the horse will not be permitted to start for 3 months and must complete 1000 metre gallop in the presence of stewards prior to its next race start.
 
Race 2: Biloela Screens & Awnings BM 45 Handicap 1200 metres 
 
LOGICAL OUTCOME (8.09am) and BAGGER MUSCLES (11.10am) were both declared late scratching due to no available riders.
 
GUNDY MAGIC- Contact with another runner at the start. Prior to correct weight, Trainer J Devine and rider viewed the patrol film to ascertain if grounds existed for any objection against the winner. After doing so, both parties did not proceed.
 
FLYING ENVY- Contact with another runner at the start. Eased near the 800 metres.
 
CONTINUITY- Jumped out onto another runner.
 
CRAIGLEA COPPER- Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
MARKOVER- Jockey R Faehr fined $200 for use of whip on more than 5 occasion prior to the 100 metres.
 
Race 3: MSP Photography Open Handicap 1400m
 
ATEACES – Rider was permitted to ride 2kg overweight, as no other was available closer to the allotted weight.
 
No racing incidents.
 
Race 4: Bettapork Class B Handicap 1600m
 
CASUAL DUDE – App. J Brand was permitted to ride a half kilogram overweight as no other rider was available. App. Brand was fined $100 for weighing out half kilogram over her allotted weight. Slow into stride. Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
SPLENDABA – Began awkwardly.
 
ARLIS – Rider was permitted to ride 2kg overweight as no other rider was available.
 
DANE CHEVAL – Rider was permitted to ride 2.5kg overweight as no other rider was available.

Race 5:  Valley Coaches Maiden Plate 800m
 
SOME IDEA – Began awkwardly and contacted by JUDY BELLE.
 
DUAN NYMPH – Slow to begin.
