RACE 1: MEMBERS CLASS B HANDICAP - 1075m
 
TRIDACNA – In the vicinity of the 200m had to be steadied and shift out after improving onto the heels of LA CELESTINA.
 
OUR DESERT ROSE – Slow to begin. In the vicinity of the 850m had to be steadied to avoid the heels of GAMBLER’S SON who was carried in by TRIDACNA which shifted in when insufficiently clear. Jockey M Gray, rider of TRIDACNA, was reminded of his obligations to stop and straighten his mounts when they shift ground in future.
 
RACE 2: BILOELA COMMUNITY WELL-BEING BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP - 1200m
 
APPLAUSE A STAR – Stewards permitted Jockey S Sweedman to ride half a kilogram over his handicapped weight.
 
DANISH DICTION – Stood flatfooted at the start and was slow to begin.
 
RACE 3: MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS OPEN HANDICAP - 1200m
 
ARTIES’S SHORE – Was momentarily inconvenienced in the vicinity of the 1000m by MACHO TYCOON who was carried in by GOLOVKIN who was carried in by SWINGAHINCH which shifted in when insufficiently clear.
 
MACHO TYCOON – In the vicinity  of the 1000m had to check to avoid the heels of GOLOVKIN who was carried in by SWINGAHINCH which shifted in when insufficiently clear. Jockey M Stephens, rider of SWINGAHINCH, was found guilty of a charge of careless riding under AR131(a) and was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence at midnight 30/11/19 and to expire midnight 12/12/19. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
 
GOLOVKIN - Stewards permitted Jockey S Sweedman to ride half a kilogram over his handicapped weight. In the vicinity of the 1000m had to be steadied to avoid the heels of SWINGAHINCH which shifted in when insufficiently clear.
 
RACE 4: BILOELA COMMUNITY WELL-BEING GROUP BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP- 1600m
 
HULK HENRY – In the vicinity of the 1100m had to check and shift across the heels of MAN OF ENVY which shifted in when insufficiently clear. Jockey R Oakford, rider of MAN OF ENVY pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under AR131(a) and was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence at midnight 7/12/19 and to expire midnight 15/12/19. A post race veterinary examination revealed lacerations to off fore leg.
 
MAN OF ENVY – In the vicinity of the 100m had to be restrained an shift out to avoid the heels of IF BY CHANCE (NZ) which shifted out when insufficiently clear. Jockey N Summers, rider of IF BY CHANCE (NZ), was reprimanded.
 
IF BY CHANCE (NZ) – Was held up for clear running in the vicinity of the 100m and was shifted out in an attempt to improve into clear running.
 
RACE 5: MERRY CHRISTMAS MAIDEN PLATE - 800m
 
BONDAGE – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after not competing in the past 12 months and was passed fit to start.
 
PRINCESS CARTIER – Laid out rounding the home turn.
 
LADY CECELIA – Rider reported that his mount felt awkward in its action on entering the home straight. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
