Wareham_________________________________ Race 1: Kim Mobbs Benchmark 55 H’Cap – 1075m DISCO DOUGIE – Jumped away awkwardly. Approaching the 700m had to be steadied to avoid the heels of CIRCUIT JUDGE, which laid out despite the efforts of its rider. CIRCUIT JUDGE – Laid out throughout the event. Race 2: Biloela Plumbing Service Maiden Plate – 1200m REFUTATION – Slow to muster speed. TOY WHITTY – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after competing in the past seven days and was passed fit to start. Slow to begin. YUBETIDO – Slow to begin. Approaching the 800m had to be restrained after improving onto the heels of CRAIGLEA CLINKERS. Disappointed for a narrow run passing the 100m. CRAIGLEA CLINKERS – Laid out throughout the event. Race 3: James Swift Open H’cap – 1200m THE BAKER – Slow to begin. Race 4: Callide Valley Thinkwater Benchmark 45 H’cap – 1300m CALL ME THEROUX – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding had bled from both nostrils. Trainer Mr S. Rogers was advised of the provisions of AR79(4). TOM’S STAR – Jumped away awkwardly. RED HANA – Momentarily held up for clear running on entering the home straight. NO MORE BIDS – Late scratching on veterinary advice at 12.33pm after being found to be lame in the near foreleg. Trainer J Devine was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required prior to accepting for a future race or trial. Race 5: Ladies Day June 12th Benchmark 60 H’cap – 1600m CRAIGLEA CETINA – Became awkwardly placed on the heels of RUFFIN’ IT approaching the winning past. RUN PAM RUN – Slow to begin. RUFFIN’ IT (NZ) – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight. TONTEIN – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after competing in the past seven days and was passed fit to start.
