Race 1: TRC TAB RACING TUESDAY 2ND MAY Maiden Plate 800 metres
 
 
MADANCER – Began awkwardly. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
NICOVER – Began awkwardly. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight. Upon returning to scale, Apprentice O, O’Donnell advised that in her opinion the mare failed to handle the firm surface and tight turning corners of todays event.
 
SECRET SONNETS – Slow to begin. Inclined to hang out from the 400m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have sustained a laceration to the off-hind leg. Trainer J. Kuhn was advised the mare would require a veterinary clearance prior to returning to racing.
 
CRAIGLEA LAKI – Began awkwardly.
 
SHOW AND GO – Upon returning to scale Jockey J. Stanley advised that his mount was inclined to hang out from the 500m proving difficult to ride out.
 
Race 2: JACK MURRAY BENCHMARK 60 Handicap 1200 metres
 
STARHATTAN – Began awkwardly and lost ground.
 
GRAND DE LAGO – Blundered shortly after the start. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
BEAN DEADLY – Slow into stride. Raced wide without cover in the early stages before settling in a rearward position near the 800m. Following the event Trainer K. Miller advised that the gelding would now be retired from the stable.
 
JABALI GOLD – Began awkwardly.
 
PHOENIX FLYER – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
WREN PLUCKED – Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Hung out when rounding the 800m turn and the home turn.
 
 
Race 3: BILOELA PLUMBING WORKS QTIS Maiden Plate 1200 metres
 
The start was delayed when MR DEMOLITION, FALSE TESTIMONY and URBAN ARTIST proved difficult to load.
 
EMPEROR TEIO – Hung out rounding the 800m turn forcing ROSE ALICE wider.
 
FALSE TESTIMONY – Began awkwardly and lost ground. Shifted in to obtain clear running near the 200m.
 
FLAMING ASTEROID – Began awkwardly.
 
ROSE ALICE – Forced wider at the 800m when EMPEROR TEIO hung out despite the best efforts of its rider. A post-race veterinary examination at the request of the trainer revealed the filly to have sustained a laceration to the near-hind leg. Trainer K. Johnston advised that the filly will require a veterinary clearance prior to returning to racing.
 
MISS RINEHART – Began awkwardly.
 
Race 4: LH/AUSLEC BENCHMARK 55 Handicap 800 metres
 
LIEUTENANT – Began awkwardly. Improved onto the heels of OUR STORMY GIRL near the 300m and was forced to steady.
 
FAV'S FLYER – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
TOUR DE DREAM – Blundered on jumping. Forced inwards by BALUNT shortly after the start.
 
OUR STORMY GIRL – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
BALUT – Began awkwardly making contact with TOUR DE DREAM shortly after the start.
 
NOW OR NEVER – As the mare had not raced in over twelve months, underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to start.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Race 5: BILOELA FLEXIHIRE BENCHMARK 55 Handicap 1400 metres
 
DIXIE PREACHER – Following the event trainer G. Bell advised that the gelding would now be retired from the stable.
 
NATIVE BEE – Began awkwardly.
 
LYRICAL LOVER – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
LINGJUN TOPGUN – Began awkwardly.
 
THE CROWN – Reared at the start and lost ground. Raced wide without cover for the majority. Weakened from the 400m taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in both hind legs. Trainer K.  Miller was advised that the mare would require a veterinary clearance prior to returning to racing. Mr Miller advised the mare would now be retired following the event
 
DECK OF ACES – Began awkwardly.
 
HALLO POPPET – Blundered on jumping.
 
Race 6: RAY WHITE BILOELA BENCHMARK 45 Handicap1200 metres
 
Due to a stable hand becoming injured when entering the mounting yard the start time of this event was amended to 5:30pm.
 
The start was delayed when BORNEES LAD became fractious on route to the barriers, dislodged its rider and escaped the confinements of the track. BORENEES LAD was subsequently declared a late scratching by order of the stewards at 5:26pm. Stewards ordered that all monies invested into BORNEES LAD be refunded with the following deductions to apply:

21 cents in the dollar for the win - #13
21 cents in the dollar for the place of winner - #13
20 cents in the dollar for 2nd placegetter – #10
15 cents in the dollar for 3rd placegetter - #6                                                                                                                                          
Trainer L.Clem was advised that the gelding will be required to trial to the satisfaction of the stewards prior to returning to racing.
 
MAVERICK HENRY – Shifted in shortly after start crowding SHEZROYAL for clear running.
 
CHESTO'S DREAM – Raced wide throughout.
 
IMAGINE THAT – Began Awkwardly. Hung in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
TOY WHITTY – Proved difficult to load. Began awkwardly and lost ground.
 
LADY RASCAL – Improved onto heels approaching the 800m and was forced to steady. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
AWSOME POWER – Approaching the 200m, steadied from heels when LADY RASCAL shifted outs to improve. Jockey H. Phillips (the rider of LADY RASCAL) was issued a reprimand under AR131(a). Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
SHEZROYAL – Crowded for clear running shortly after start when MAVERICK HENRY shifted in at start.
