GENERAL:
 
As Jockey J. Felix was not riding at todays meeting due to injury, he was replaced as per Stewards summary.
 
RACE 1: MASTER BUILDERS – THE HOME OF BUILDING CLASS 3 PLATE – 1609M
 
TRY BEFORE DUBAI – Bounded in the air as the start was effected and lost ground.
 
BACKTOSPEC – Over–raced in the early and middle stages of the race.
 
RACE 2: BUSSQ BUILDING SUPER CLASS6 PLATE 1300M
 
CORONATION JOURNEY – Began awkwardly, shifted outwards bumping another runner and lost ground.  
 
BETTER FUTURE – Bumped by another runner on jumping, crowded for room and lost ground.
 
GOOD CATCH – A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be suffering muscel cramp and tending to tie up. Connections advised the gelding would now be sent for an immediate spell.    
 
RACE 3:  PLUMBER TO YOUR – WE DO IT ALL RATINGS 0 – 55 H’CAP – 1200M
 
TWICE THE STYLE – Began awkwardly and shifted outwards.
 
RENEGADE RUBY – Slow to begin. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
CARLINO’S WAY – Slow to begin. Raced wide in the early stages of the race.
 
CHIC SOX – Commenced to lay in under pressure leaving the 400m until the winning post proving difficult to ride out.
 
RACE 4: MACCA’S SYNTHETIC GRASSES MAIDEN PLATE – 1000M
 
HOT PROSPECT – Slow into stride.
 
LEIGHWAY – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
HATZ SON – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
RACE 5: MASTER BUILDERS – THE VOICE OF THE INDUSTRY OPEN H’CAP 1000M
 
CANNY AND THE JET – Bounded in the air as the start was effected and landed awkwardly. Restrained near the 50m to avoid the heels of another runner.
 
RAPT IN RUMBA – Laid out shortly after the start crowding a runner to its outside. Shifted out near the 50m inconveniencing another runner. Rider N. Nelson was reprimanded and advised to make a greater effort to keep her mounts straight in similar circumstances.
 
CRAIGLEA ODYSSEY – Raced in restricted for a short distance shortly after the start and was steadied.  
 
ROYAL PHYSICIAN – Began awkwardly and shifted out bumping another runner.
 
MINNIE STREET – Bumped by another runner on jumping away.
