Race 1: BROWN BROTHERS QTIS 2YO H’CAP – 1300m
 
HIDDEN SECRET – Slow to begin.
 
MT PETER MISS - Slow to begin.
 
KICK ONS – Shifted out at the start, bumping another runner.
 
EL OF A SAGA – After beginning awkwardly was then bumped by another runner. Threw its head in the air when being restrained near the 900m.
 
DEVINE MELODY – Overraced in the early stages.
 
Race 2: TAB DOWNLOAD THE APP QTIS 3YO H’CAP – 1200m
 
NARDA SHAR – Shifted out on jumping, tightening a runner to its outside.
 
TARTUFO BIANCO – Shifted inwards at the start, tightening a runner to its inside. Rider dropped his whip near the 300m.
 
SPEED EIGHT – Buffeted between runners for a short distance on jumping. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
BANK TELLER – Raced ungenerously in the early stages.
 
SANTISIMO – Overraced in the early stages. Was reluctant to race inside runners near the 800m, and raced ungenerously.  Shifted out near the 180m when reluctant to proceed into a narrow gap when crowded by another runner, becoming unbalanced.
 
DANCING DIVA – Shifted in slightly near the 180m despite the efforts of its rider, crowding another runner.
 
BOLD ZIP – Overraced in the early stages.
 
WICKED DANCER – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
 
Race 3: TAB UP & COMING STAYERS BM 65 H’CAP – 2000m
 
THE FOX EFFECT – Began awkwardly. Had difficulty obtaining clear running leaving the 300m until inside the 100m.
 
CYCLONE PATH – Began awkwardly. Restrained near the 600m when tightened for room by another runner, which shifted in.
 
LOKUM – Began awkwardly.
 
ZOFFANY ROCKET – Shifted in near the 1600m, causing another runner to be restrained. Rider W. D’avila was severely reprimanded and advised to show greater care.
 
ROOSTER HUNTER – Improved onto heels near the 1600m and when being restrained shifted out, forcing another runner wider.
 
CROCODILE SHOES – Momentarily forced wider near the 1600m by another runner, which shifted out.  Shifted in under pressure near the 250m, crowding another runner.
 
VICTORY IN PARIS – Crowded by another runner near the 250m.
 
Race 4: TAB BM 55 H’CAP – 1609m
 
ZELENUS – Slow to begin. Shifted out leaving the 200m, brushing another runner.
 
BERNIE’S REGRET – Slow to begin. Had difficulty obtaining clear running in the home straight and went to the line without being fully tested.
 
THERMOGENIC – Began awkwardly, throwing its head in the air.
 
CANDY GIRL – Raced in restricted room leaving the 200m and when brushed by another runner was steadied.
 
CELESTIAL JEWEL – Raced wide in the early stages.
 
SCOTTISH LAD - Raced wide in the early stages.
 
GOOD CATCH - Raced wide in the early stages.
 
FOLLOW ON - Raced wide in the early stages.
 
ZOOBA MAN – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a laceration to its off hind coronet.
 
Race 5: CARLTON UNITED BREWERIES 0-55 H’CAP – 1000m
 
DRAGON PINS – Stood flatfooted at the start and lost considerable ground.  Trainer J. McConachy was advised that the gelding must obtain a further barrier certificate prior to being permitted to race again.
 
GOULDIAN – Began awkwardly.
 
MIRACLES APLENTY – Slow to begin. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
DANCETIME – Slow to begin. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have bled in running.   Trainer M. Jokic was advised that the horse would incur the mandatory 3 month ban under AR79 and must gallop 1000m in the presence of a steward before being permitted to race again.
 
KAP IT OFF – Disappointed for a run near the 100m.
 
TECZA – Unable to obtain clear running from leaving the 300m until inside the 100m.
 
GOHARDONHULA – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
KISS THE BOSS - Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
EGYPTIANBEAR - Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
 
Race 6: MATER HEALTH SERVICES CLASS 3 PLATE – 1400m
 
MAGIC BELINDA – Shifted out on jumping, bumping another runner and became unbalanced. Overraced in the early and middle stages.
 
VIA BALCIANO – Tightened for room on jumping away
 
OMINECA – Shortly after the start shifted out, bumping another runner. Overraced in the early stages. Shifted in under pressure approaching the winning post, having to be corrected.
 
NAUGHTY CORNER – Bumped shortly after the start and shifted out, bumping another runner.
 
AGGARWAL – Bumped by another runner shortly after the start. Shifted in and away from another runner approaching the winning post. Rider W. D’avila advised that the gelding may have got its tongue over the bit in running.  
 
Race 7: TAB TOWNSVILLE CUP OPEN H’CAP – 2000m
 
I CAN I WILL I AM – Delayed the start after becoming fractious in the barriers.  After undergoing a veterinary examination was cleared to start.  Following the event, trainer T. Cook advised that the horse had a slow recovery and would be sent for an immediate spell.
 
MISHANI VAIDRA – Slow to begin.
 
FOLLOW SUIT – Slow to begin. Steadied shortly after the start when tightened for room. Shifted in soon after the start, forcing another runner to be steadied.
 
BOCHY – Shifted in soon after the start tightening another runner. Jockey L. Tilley was advised to show greater care in similar circumstances.
 
HARDERN – Slow to begin. Restrained shortly after the start to avoid the heels of another runner, which shifted in. Raced wide rounding the turn out of the straight on the first occasion. Shifted in near the 1350m, crowding a runner to its inside.
 
UNBIASED – Shifted in shortly after the start, causing another runner to be restrained.  Then continued to shift in, placing another runner in restricted room approaching the winning post on the first occasion.  Jockey N. Callow, rider of UNBIASED, was reprimanded and advised to show greater care in similar circumstances.
 
CALYPSO BAY – Steadied when placed in restricted room approaching the winning post on the first occasion and commenced to overrace for a short distance.
 
GOLDEN MANE – Crowded for room approaching the winning post on the first occasion, then raced ungenerously for a short distance.
 
LOUD ENOUGH – Threw its head in the air when being steadied near the 1600m. Steadied off heels of another runner, which shifted in near the 1350m.
 
CRIMSON HALO – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
ASTORIA – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
Race 8: TAB GAMBLE RESPONSIBLY CLASS 6 PLATE – 1000m
 
STRONG WILL – Slow to begin.
 
SAFDIE – Began awkwardly.
 
LETS GO TO RIO – Began awkwardly. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
ANOTHER WHISKEY – Raced wide in the early stages.
 
CHAPEL ROAD – Had to be restrained near the 500m after improving onto heels.
 
BULLION WOLF – Unable to obtain clear running from leaving the 300m to until inside the 100m.
 
IMANUI – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
