GENERAL
As W. D’Avila was not riding due to illness, riding replacements were made as per the Stewards Race Day Summary.
 
Race 1: WELCOME TO CLUDEN PARK QTIS 2YO H'CAP – 1000M
 
TENNESSEE BOY – Restrained approaching the winning post to avoid improving on to the heels of another runner.
 
HIGHER REALM – Slow into stride after being tightened between runners on jumping.
 
COURTING SARA – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and passed fit to start.
 
CRACKER ESSGEE – Slowly away. Shifted out soon after jumping, bumping with a runner to its outside.
 
MANOORA PRINCESS – Shifted in abruptly on jumping, tightening runners to its inside. Raced ungenerously throughout, taking no competitive part in the event. Apprentice K. Swaffer advised that the filly had got its tongue over the bit in running. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer Mr T. Rowe’s representative, who advised a gear change would be considered, was nonetheless advised the filly would be required to trial satisfactorily prior to its next race start.
 
ONE BLOOMIN’ TALE – Slow into stride after being tightened between runners on jumping.
 
Race 2: NEW MEMBERSHIPS COMING SOON QTIS 2YO & 3YO MAIDEN H'CAP – 1000M
 
LIGHTHORSE LAD – Raced wide for the majority of the event. Laid in under pressure down the running.
 
SHRESSA – Slowly away. Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
LOVE OVER GOLD – Slowly away. Had to be checked off heels near the 900m when attempting to cross to a position closer to the running rail. Jockey J. Stanley was reprimanded for careless riding.
 
MOLONGLE DRIFTER – Shifted in abruptly on jumping.
 
ALL STAR ROCKET – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
 
TOTAL DISDAIN – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
 
NICHOLAS ADAM – Slowly into stride.
 
VIENNA SPIRIT – Slowly away after being inconvenienced on jumping.
 
GOLD REVENGE – After beginning awkwardly, shifted out, inconveniencing runners to its outside.
 
Race 3: CLUDEN PARK SPORTS BAR QTIS 2YO & 3YO MAIDEN H'CAP – 1000M
 
ARROGANT HEART – Slowly away. Raced greenly for the majority of the event. Shifted out on straightening, inconveniencing a runner to its outside.
 
THE WAITERS EYE – A post-race veterinary examination of the filly, which was having its first race start, revealed no abnormalities.
 
MYSTERY ‘N’ MAGIC – Slowly away.
 
ALL BAR SURAH – Slowly away. Raced ungenerously in the middle stages.
 
AWARE OF STYLE – Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
TOSCAVALE ROAD – Began awkwardly. Raced ungenerously in the early and middle stages. Raced wide for the majority of the event. Inconvenienced on straightening.
 
Race 4: HY-TECH MAIDEN H'CAP – 1300M
 
EIGHTFA – After beginning awkwardly, shifted in hampering runners to its inside. Jockey F Edwards was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.
 
POTENT POWER – Slowly away. Hampered soon after the start when tightened between runners.
 
SAN JOAQUIN – Began awkwardly and bumped with another runner soon after jumping.
 
INVESTIBLE – Raced in restricted room for a short distance passing the 1000m.
 
BRANDS HATCH – Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
GETOUT OF MY NEIGH – Slowly into stride, then hampered soon after the start by runners to its outside.
 
CHEESE BURGER – Shifted in on jumping, hampering runners to its inside. Jockey P Romeo was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.
 
PERFECTLY POSH – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and passed fit to start. Bumped with another runner soon after jumping. Tired noticeably over the concluding stages.
 
TIDES OF TOKYO – Raced ungenerously for a short distance when crossed by another runner near the 1100m. Had to be restrained off the heels of a tiring runner near the 400m and was disappointed for clear running near the 300m.
 
On returning to the enclosure Jockey P. Cullen (WINDOW SEAT) reported to stewards that his mount had thrown its head back enroute to the barriers, and as a result he had sustained a facial injury. Jockey Cullen was transported to hospital for treatment. Riding replacements for his remaining engagements were made as per the Stewards Race Day Summary.
 
Race 5: CALTEX YABULU CLASS 2 PLATE – 1000M
 
NEWSTEAD – Slowly into stride. Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
LOUD ‘N’ LOOSE – Raced wide for the majority of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near foreleg. Connections were advised that a veterinary clearance will be required prior to its next race start.
 
SPEEDYCOM – Shifted out on jumping. Laid in near the 700m, crossing another runner when not fully clear. In reprimanding jockey B. Thomson for careless riding, stewards took into account the racing manners of SPEEDYCOM at the time of the incident.
 
CHARGING CLEAR – Slowly into stride. Had to be restrained near the 700m when crossed by another runner which was not fully clear.
 
MISS FLAWLESS – Raced ungenerously for the majority of the event. Shifted ground considerably on 2 occasions in the home straight when attempting to find clear running.
 
DEIGO BAY – Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
Race 6: CLUDEN PARK MEMBERS LOUNGE CLASS 2 PLATE – 1000M
 
FLYING MAGIC was withdrawn on veterinary advice at 1:00 pm after being found to be lame in the near foreleg. Trainer Mr D. Amos was advised a veterinary clearance would be required prior to the horse’s next race start.
 
BLAZON TALES – Slowly into stride. Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
GREAT WINGS – Jockey A. Holt reported that the gelding laid out for the majority of the event.
 
FAMILY STAR – Shifted in on jumping.
 
FANAAR – Slowly into stride after beginning awkwardly. Lost the off fore plate on jumping away.
 
MAN O’ ROSS – Jockey G. Kliese was cautioned in relation to his use of the whip prior to the 100m.
 
RISING BOOM – Slowly into stride. Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
MIRACLES APLENTY – Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
VEHEMENT – Brushed the running rail near the 300m.
 
Race 7: HYGAIN BENCHMARK 65 H'CAP – 2000M
 
HOT SAGA – Overraced in the middle stages and raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
DORDOGNE – Shifted in on jumping, inconveniencing a runner to its inside. Shifted away from heels near the 1700m, taking another runner wider. Overraced in the early stages.
 
BOCHY – When questioned, trainer G. Holt advised that she had expected the gelding to race well as it was far better suited by the 2000m of today’s race than in recent starts over shorter distances.
 
BARWON – Inconvenienced on jumping.
 
RED PHANTOM – Had to be restrained when inconvenienced near the 1700m. Raced wide in the middle stages.
 
FOLLOW ON – Difficult to load. Trainer Ms O. Cairns was advised a warning would be placed on the gelding’s barrier manners. Inconvenienced near the 1700m. Raced wide in the middle stages. Shifted out under pressure down the running.
 
DONT CHEAT CHARLIE – Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
SPIRITED CHARACTER – Raced ungenerously in the middle stages. Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
Race 8: TAB DOWNLOAD THE APP BENCHMARK 69 H'CAP – 1200M
 
DIVINE SERVICE – Inconvenienced when racing in restricted room passing the 1000m.
 
LAST CHANCE – Shifted out on jumping. Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
MISTA BUSY – Slowly away after beginning very awkwardly.
 
WICKED DANCER – Tightened between runners on jumping.
 
J’ADORE – Slowly into stride after being tightened between runners on jumping. Restrained off heels near the 1000m.
 
FUNKY MUSIC – Shifted in on jumping. On return to scale jockey J. Stanley advised that although it was not his intention to lead today, after beginning well from the outside barrier he considered it to be his best option so as not to be caught wide.
 
MASKING – Raced wide from the 1000m.
 
Stewards inquired into an incident which took place near the 1000m resulting in MASKING (C Whiteley), PURE HAWK (S Sheargold), J’ADORE (P Romeo) all suffering some degree of interference. After hearing evidence from the relevant parties and viewing available patrol footage it was established that approaching that point FUNKY MUSIC (J Stanley) which was improving forward from a wide barrier had crowded the running of DREAM I CAN (S Wilson) which shifted in onto the running of MASKING which was checked. PURE HAWK which was following was also checked with J’ADORE having to be restrained off the heels of that runner. Although Stewards were unable to attribute full responsibility to any individual rider both J Stanley and S Wilson were severely reprimanded for careless riding.
 
Race 9: UNVEILING OF TTC JOCKEY FACILITIES OPEN H'CAP – 1400M
 
LADY SKILLS – Overraced in the early stages. Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
VIA BALCIANO – Jockey S. Wilson was cautioned in relation to the use of his whip prior to the 100m.
 
BUSTER BLOCK – Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
GUANGZHOU – Inconvenienced when tightened between runners soon after jumping.
 
Race 10: RACING @ TTC THURSDAY 18 JUNE RATINGS BAND 0 – 58 H'CAP – 1300M
 
HONEST NATALIE – Slowly away after being inconvenienced on jumping. Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
CADENCE – Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
DISTRACTED – Slowly away.
 
EVIL EYE MAC – Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
HORORA VEL – Shifted in marginally near the 300m, inconveniencing a runner to its inside. Jockey F. Edwards was reprimanded for careless riding.
 
LIFE IN MANHATTAN – Slowly away. Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
FORGOTTEN FEELING – Inconvenienced near the 300m by another runner which shifted in marginally.
