App Shred advised that her instructions had been to have her mount where he was comfortable and try and finish the race off, adding that after receiving some pressure from the outside early she elected to restrain her mount. Trainer R Chillemi advised that his instructions had been to be positive out of the barrier, obtain cover if possible and try and finish the race off. Stewards questioned App Shred as to whether there had been an opportunity in the early stages to slightly pressure or not restrain her mount in order to obtain a more forward position to the inside of or just behind CHIVARGO (S Pawsey).
