Stewards permitted the following overweights:
Race 1. S. Sheargold +1.0kg
Race 5. A. Thomson +0.5kg
 
Race 1: LADBROKE IT! OPEN Handicap 1000M
 
Correct weight was delayed allowing Stewards to view the patrol footage of the start to confirm that YOUR TOO GOOD had started on terms with all other runners. After reviewing the footage, all clear was given.
 
DUSKY DAMSEL – Slow into stride. Raced three-wide without cover throughout.
 
JOE’S GIGGLE – Jockey S. Sheargold was accidentally struck with the whip passing the 150 metres.
 
Race 2: TRANSPORTABLE LIFESTYLES BENCHMARK 65 Handicap 1400M
 
SAVVY SOVEREIGN (NZ) – Over-raced for a short distance passing the 1100 metres.
 
TO LOVE SOMEBODY – Held up for clear running for a short distance passing the 200 metres.

BABY GUINNESS – Slow to begin.
 
SHIPS AHOY - Rider Scott Sheargold was found guilty of a breach of AR131(a) (careless riding), with the particulars being that he permitted SHIPS AHOY to shift ground inward passing the 950 metres resulting in SAVVY SOVEREIGN (J. Edwards) being checked and lose its rightful running. After consideration of penalty rider Sheargold’s licence to ride in races was suspended from the conclusion of racing today (5th November), up to and including racing on Thursday 14th November 2024 (9 days).
 
STRATHCONA – Laid in passing the 100 metres and had to be straightened.
 
Race 3: THE BRILLIANT GROUP BENCHMARK 58 Handicap 1200M
 
DON’T TELL LEANNE – Raced wide throughout.
 
CELEBRATION – Slow into stride
 
FROM THIS MOMENT – Over-raced in the early and middle stages.
 
OAKFIELD PANTHER – Over-raced in the middle stages. Was unable to be fully tested over the concluding stages.
 
Race 4: RAY WHITE KIRWAN QTIS THREE-YEAR-OLD MAIDEN Handicap 1000M
 
TAKE A DIVE – Raced in restricted room coming onto the course proper then laid out shortly after.
 
THE JUDGING SAINT – Raced wide throughout. When questioned on the disappointing performance, Jockey C. Spry was at a loss to explain the effort, however stated that THE JUDGING SAINT had trialled well in the lead-up to today when able to lead and could not do so today. Jockey Spry suggested that the gelding may be suited to racing in blinkers and over further ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities other than the near side hind plate had moved.
 
SAN TAN TONI – Raced wide throughout.
 
THE GENERAL TALKS – Began awkwardly.
 
LOVE ‘N’ VISION – Began awkwardly.
 
ALLEZ PARIS – After casting a plate in the mounting area, permission was given for ALLEZ PARIS to race bare behind. Raced greenly coming onto the course proper.
 
HOLD MY HALO – Raced greenly over the concluding stages.
 
Race 5: GP ONE CONSULTING CLASS 3 PLATE 1000M.
 
NO LOVE LOST – Raced wide throughout.
 
BOOMALINA – Raced wide throughout.
 
MISS TAMBO – Held up for clear running from rounding the home up to a point passing the 150 metres.     
 
SHE’S REWARDING – Had to be steadied off heels approaching the winning post.
 
SWAHILI MAI – Laid in onto TANTRUMS passing the 800 metres. Raced wide throughout.
 
WICKLOW LASS (NZ) – Shifted in on jumping contacting NORTHERNONTAP. Raced wide throughout. Laid in over the concluding stages.
 
TANTRUMS – Apprentice Jockey I. Teh reported at scale that she was struck in the face after TANTRUMS threw its head back at the start. Bumped at the 800 metres.
