Slow into stride and raced three wide throughout without cover.SPANISH SPIRIT – underwent a pre-race veterinary inspection after racing the previous day and was cleared to start.Commenced to drop out from the 500 metres.Race 2: CLERMONT CONCRETE / CLERMONT QUARRIES QTIS Maiden Plate 1100 metres DEVIL – Proved difficult to load and raced three wide throughout without cover. Trainer John Manzelmann was advised that a warning was placed on DEVIL for proving difficult to load into the barriers. FLAMING ASTEROID – underwent a pre-race veterinary inspection after racing the previous day and was cleared to start. SON DINGO – underwent a pre-race veterinary inspection after racing the previous day and was cleared to start.CADDY – Proved difficult to load. Trainer John Manzelmann was advised that a warning was placed on CADDY for proving difficult to load into the barriers. Began awkwardly and raced four wide throughout without cover.CORABETTY – Apprentice jockey Tahlia Fenlon was dislodged during the prelim parade. CORABETTY was declared a late scratching at 2:12pm. Apprentice jockey Fenlon was treated for pain relief and transported by Queensland ambulance to Clermont hospital for further observation.Stewards ordered that all wagers placed on CORABETTY to be refunded and that all successful wagers placed prior to 2:12pm be subject to a deduction of 22 cents in the dollar for win bets and 23 cents in the dollar for all place bets.Trainer Kevin Miller was advised CORABETTY was barred from racing until the completion of a barrier trial to the satisfaction of Stewards.Race 3: COOVIN / BUNDABAROO / NOEL O’SULLIVAN MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 50 Handicap 1200 metresFARMERS FRIEND – Began awkwardly and raced four wide throughout without cover.SCHATZI – Began awkwardly and over raced up onto heels approaching the 700 metres.JUST FRANK – underwent a pre-race veterinary inspection after racing the previous day and was cleared to start.
