REPLACEMENTS

L Karklis (SURPRISED) replaced J Bryant who was unable to fulfil her engagement.

A Pattillo who was indisposed was replaced by: R Morris (BROWN CHARIOT & DAINTREE DAN), P Spry (KANAWHA), C Spry (EDINBURGH CASTLE), A Abrahams (MISSY MOTH).

RACE 1: SEA WORLD NARA RESORT CLASS 2 H'CAP – 900M.

CORAL ISLE was slowly away.

Approaching the 700m CHATTONIC LADY was momentarily crowded for room by JED ENOCH.

Near the 550m NOSEY MAN hung in onto the heels of VALERIAN TRIOMPHE.

Leaving the 550m KILLED THE CAT was steadied when momentarily crowded for room by COUNTRY ROSE, which rolled in.

CHATTONIC LADY was disappointed for clear running in the early stages of the home straight.

CORAL ISLE laid in over the concluding stages.

Time off 3.54 pm.

RACE 2: WEIS RESTAURANT MAIDEN H'CAP – 1100M.

R Hurley (OURAPILLA BOY) replaced C Spry who was unable to claim any of his allowance. C Spry was fined the sum of $50.

At the start ROLLING DESTINTY made heavy contact with OURAPILLA BOY, when taken out by GO MUSIC GO, which jumped awkwardly and out.
Leaving the 550m BACHELOR GIRL was eased when crowded for room between BUCK’S FREEZE (P Spry), which shifted out and OURAPILLA BOY (T Hurley), which shifted in. T Hurley and P Spry were advised of their obligations when their mount is shifting ground.

Near the 800m OURAPILLA BOY, which dipped, returned to scale minus the off hind plate.

BACHELOR GIRL was held up for clear running for short distance in the early stages of the home straight.

Approaching the 100m BACHELOR GIRL and ROLLING DESTINTY made contact.

A veterinary inspection of OURAPILLA BOY, which performed disappointingly failed to reveal any abnormality.

Time off 4.34 pm.

RACE 3: RAY WHITE CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS CLASS 1 H'CAP - 1600M.

A veterinary inspection of BEAVER LAKE, which hit the parade yard fence, cleared the gelding to start.

SURPRISED reared high as the gates opened losing considerable ground.

AFFAIR TIME was slowly away.

Approaching the 1200m SURPRISED got its head up whilst being eased.

Leaving the 900m OAKEY JEWEL and NARWHAL raced in restricted room for a short distance to the inside of CAWDOR WARRIOR.

A veterinary inspection of BROCK’S MATE, which weakened badly, failed to reveal any abnormality.

Time off 5.10 pm.

RACE 4: ALAN WHITE CLASS 4 H'CAP – 5.45 PM.

Trainer G Banks was fined the sum of $25 for presenting NEW YORK TIMES late in the parade yard.

STYLISH EYES dipped on jumping.

At the start LOOKS A LOVER, PITY OF LOVE and KANAWHA were hampered by RANSOM NOTE, which jumped in.

Shortly after MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH, TALBINGO LAD and LOOKS A LOVER were hampered between PITY OF LOVE and ASTANA, which shifted out and away from BLACK TOP, which jumped out.

Approaching the 100m ASTANA was disappointed for a run.

MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH was held up for clear running from the 300m until the 100m.

ALI REZAR, which returned to the parade yard with blood in both nostrils, was stood down from racing for a period of 3 months.

Time off 5.45 pm.

RACE 5: RAY WHITE TOOWOOMBA CITY CLASS 6 H'CAP – 1000M.

At the start NASCARMA made contact with FARISIKNOW when jumping in and across the running of SPORTS DIARY and BIO MAGIC, which were slowly away.

Shortly after the start COUNT IZON, NAKED EYE and RHELL LOVE were severely hampered between MANREGO, which jumped out marginally and SAHARA SAINT, which jumped in.

Near the 850m KEWPIE DOLL was steadied from the heels of SAHARA SAINT, which shifted out.

Leaving the 800m MANREGO was eased when tightened for room by RHELL LOVE (A Abrahams), which shifted in. A Abrahams was reminded of his obligations when his mount is shifting ground.

MANREGO was held up for clear running in the early stages of the home straight.

NAKED EYE and KEWPIE DOLL were held up for clear for the entire length of the home straight.

Time off 6.25 pm.

RACE 6: SUPER QRIS ADDED STAKES 3-Y-O MAIDEN H'CAP – 1300M.

BON BONS and DONNABELLE were slowly away.

Leaving the 1100m PHILP was tightened onto EDINBURGH CASTLE by BLAZING SHARI, which was hanging in whilst racing keenly.

Near 550m RAPADAMA was eased from the heels of NEDESTO.

Approaching the 250m PHILP shifted out making contact with SAHARA MACA.

ELDORET was held up for clear running for the last 400m.

Trainer P Gillman (PHILP) was cautioned concerning his behaviour in the parade yard following the race.

Time off 7.05 pm.




RACE 7: BILLY HUNTER’S AUTO CITY MAIDEN H'CAP – 1600M.

The stablehand of SOBROTH required ambulance attention when the mare struck him on the forehead with its head.

FLASHING JACK jumped in taking ROCKIN’ THE STARS onto BOONAMIN.
Near the 1200m MISSY MOTH and WHY NOT WAG were tight for room for a short distance whilst racing to the inside of FLASHING JACK.
Near the 850m WHY NOT WAG shifted in making contact with MISSY MOTH.

Near the 550m GORD’S GOLD (B Appo) shifted out making heavy contact with MISS CANTHRILL. B Appo was advised of his obligations when his mount is shifting ground.

FLASHING JACK shifted in over the concluding stages.

MORRIS MINOR shifted out over the concluding stages.

Time off 7.42 pm.

ALL WINNERS WERE SWABBED.
