GENERAL:

Due to the highway being closed caused by bushfires the following scratching were ordered:
Race 1 NO STATIC 2:15PM
Race 4 SHAREEF ROCKET 3:55PM
Race 6 OBE WAN KENOBI 3:55PM
Race 7 SNOWBLAST 3:55PM
CHARMING EYES 3:55PM

The following rider changes were also approved:
Race 1 NOTICE S Killen Permission granted to ride +0.5kg
Race 2 SILVER CENTUZA J Warrington
Race 3 MISS DE LAGO R Goltz
Race 5 ANAHEART S Aizawa

As K Banks was injured at the Clifton meeting she was replaced on the following ride:
Race 2 METALLIC FLASH G Geran

As P Spry had been injured and stood down by the club doctor he was replaced on the following rides:
Race 2 STAR TRIPPER J Sharp
Race 6 DIVA DIVINE J Warrington
Race 7 MISTER BOOLA J Warrington

As S Killen was to be overweight he was replaced on the following ride:
Race 6 MIGHTY PHUN G Geran
S Killen was subsequently fined $50

RACE 1: LEN PATTI MOTORS CLASS 3 H'CAP – 1630m

STYLE QUEEN was inclined to hang in over the concluding stages slightly hampering NOTICE.

RACE 2: ALQUIP 2YO MAIDEN H'CAP – 1018m

SPECIAL DAME and MARIGOLD came together on jumping.

THE MONARCH LANCE hung out making the 800m turn.

SILVER CENTUZA, which made the 800m turn wide, raced greenly throughout.

J Warrington the rider of SILVER CENTUZA was fined $100 for excessive use of the whip.

RACE 3: CARLTON DRAUGHT CLASS 1 H'CAP – 1219m

HIGH KWILA blundered on jumping.

DO AS I SAY jumped out at the start hampering TRINEWAL, BLUE MOXIE and BRANDY SUCCESS.

When eased at the 1100m, MAYFLY commenced to race ungenerously for some distance.
A post race veterinary examination of well beaten favourite MISS DE LAGO found the filly to have an irregular heart beat and connections were advised that a full veterinary certificate would be required and the results of an ECG prior to next start.

RACE 4: NATIONAL SERVICEMENS ASSOC. CLASS 5 H'CAP – 1219m

No racing incidents.


RACE 5: ALQUIP CLASS 2 H'CAP – 1018m

PINK PONTIAC was slow to begin.

ANAHEART was slowly into stride.

Approaching the 550m, VALERIAN TRIOMPHE shifted out forcing ANAHEART wider.

Approaching the 400m, HELEN’S BROTHER, which was inclined to lay in, made heavy contact with the running rail.

RACE 6: ALQUIP MAIDEN H’CAP – 1320m

NAZGUUL which dislodged its’ rider during the preliminary was vetted and past fit to start.

CATCH A CLASSIC jumped in at the start making heavy contact with ADAM’S CURSE.

RECORD BREAKER was forced to ease off heels making the 800m turn.

Leaving the 700m, MIGHTY PHUN was forced wider on the track by ADAM’S CURSE and DIVA DIVINE.




RACE 7: LEN PATTI MOTORS MAIDEN H’CAP – 1119m

SKILFUL JACK jumped out at the start making heavy contact with MISTER BOOLA.

SHAWSHANK TRUCE jumped in at the start forcing NOR NOVA in onto CALL ME ARTIE.

ALL WINNERS WERE SWABBED.
