Nation RACE 1: BROWN BROTHERS PROSECCO CLASS 2 H'CAP – 1200MLADY MERCURY – Knuckled at the start. GUMDALE BOY – Slow to begin. CAVITATION – Raced wide throughout. PIRELLI PRINCESS – Raced ungenerously for a short distance near the 800m when being steadied from heels. Bumped with another runner near the 100m. GUMDALE BOY – Bumped near the 100m when PIRELLI PRINCESS (App. N. Keal) laid in under pressure. Apprentice Keal was reprimanded for this incident. RACE 2: WIMMERS PREMIUM SOFTDRINKS MAIDEN PLATE – 1000M SUZIE – Trainer R. Hilton was fined $100 for failing to produce the document of description for the mare. Slow to begin. SHOW ME THE MUSIC – Apprentice J. Hodge was fined $200 for failing to claim his full allowance. SIR LOCKSMITH – Overraced in the early and middle stages. IT’S NOT CRYSTAL – Laid in under pressure in the home straight. RACE 3: GRAND CENTRAL C, G & E RATINGS BAND 0-60 H'CAP – 1050MPEZENAS – Tightened for room on jumping away. Bumped with another runner shortly after the start. TIN’S POCKET – Bumped by another runner shortly after the start. THE ROBBER – Raced wide in the early stages. STARSTREAMED – Inclined to lay in under pressure in the home straight. RACE 4: BLOOMING GORGEOUS F & M RATINGS BAND 0-60 H’CAP – 1050MDRUNK IN LOVE – Knuckled at the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be sore in the off fore. Trainer B. Currie was advised he will need to provide a veterinary clearance prior to the filly racing again. MRS BOOLE – Began awkwardly. Raced wide throughout. DANGEROUS DANICA – Bumped at the start then tightened for room and lost ground. CASUAL CONNECTIONS – Began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped another runner. Tightened for room near the 250m when runners on either side shifted ground slightly. JETTY BETTY – Raced wide throughout. RACE 5: KING VALLEY PROSECCO BENCHMAR 65 H'CAP – 1625M OUR CLARKY – Tightened for room shortly after the start and lost ground. Overraced in the middle stages when being restrained from heels. ABITAZAR – Overraced in the middle stages when being restrained from heels. SPICE OF LIFE – Overraced in the early stages. Apprentice N.
