I’M FAVULOUS – Slow to begin. Jockey S. Bogenhuber reported that, after being slow to begin, she elected to settle the gelding at the rear of the field as she felt that if she permitted her mount to stride forward it would have been caught wide, and she would have made too much use of her mount. Following the running of this race the track was upgraded from a Soft 6 to a Soft 5. Race 2: UBET MAIDEN PLATE – 1050M The declaration of correct weight was delayed slightly to enable Stewards to view the patrol footage of the start to ascertain whether FAIR SET was denied a fair start. After viewing the film, Stewards were satisfied that the horse was afforded a fair start, and it was therefore declared a runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Race 4: CREATE FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS QTIS 2YO MAIDEN PLATE – 1050M Stewards afforded Trainer B. Currie and jockey N. Tomizawa, the connections of the 2nd placegetter MISHANI ROMAN, the opportunity to view the Stewards' patrol footage over the concluding stages to ascertain whether there were grounds to lodge an objection against 1st placegetter ACCOMPLISH. After viewing the film, Mr. Currie and jockey Tomizawa indicated that they did not wish to proceed, and correct weight was declared on the judge’s semaphored numbers.
