DREAMTIMER – Slow to begin. Improved on to heels near the 550m and was eased.

EIGHT OVER – Bumped with another runner at the start.

JONDY JOY – Hampered shortly after the start. Stewards questioned R. Goldsbury in relation to the tactics she adopted, particularly rounding the home turn where she shifted her mount wider on the track to secure clear running. Of concern to stewards was whether there was an opportunity to take advantage of a run which appeared to present itself to the inside of DREAMTIMER, which would have afforded her mount an unimpeded run to the finish. R. Goldsbury advised that at a point near the 300m she had elected to shift to the outside of the heels of DREAMTIMER to secure clear running, however this led to her being held up for a short distance near the 250m before securing clear running, at which point the mare had a tendency to lay in whilst racing greenly. She added that after reviewing the footage she was unaware that a run had presented to the inside of DREAMTIMER as at that point she was focused solely on shifting to the outside to secure clear running. Stewards advised jockey Goldsbury that in their opinion she erred in not taking advantage of the run that had presented to the inside of DREAMTIMER, however, ultimately stewards were of the view that JONDY JOY, by shifting to the outside, was not disadvantaged to the degree to make her culpable under the rules. Stewards advised R. Goldsbury that in future she should ride in a manner so as not to leave herself open to question.

CRAIGLEA ZED – Bumped with another runner at the start.
