The declaration of correct weight was delayed to allow the connections of MASSIVE ATTACK and the stewards to view the footage of the start to ascertain whether the gelding should be declared a non-runner. After viewing the videos it was ascertained that MASSIVE ATTACK was fractious in the barriers and began awkwardly of its own accord and as such, other than for its own manners, the gelding was afforded a fair start. Stewards therefore deemed the horse to be a runner and declared correct weight.
