Jockey N Evans’ license to ride in races was suspended for a period of 7 days, to commence midnight 3/10/20 and to expire midnight 10/10/20. Race 1: MOORE LEWIS & PARTNERS RATINGS BAND 0 - 62 Handicap 1100 metres BOSS'S BOY- Raced three wide with cover throughout. HEART OF KINGS- Reared when the start was affected resulting in its rider becoming unbalanced and dislodged shortly after the start. As a result of this incident Jockey B Andrew was transported to hospital for treatment to her right arm. Rider replacements were made as per the stewards summary. The Racing Queensland Safety Officer was notified of this incident. IN AGREEMENT- Raced three wide without cover throughout. LOVESON- Raced three wide with cover throughout. Laid in under pressure in the home straight. PRINCESS KAYO- Slow into stride. Held up approaching and rounding the home turn. ZAITEKI- Inconvenienced when forced wider on the track by the riderless horse in the home straight. LOVE YERS ALL- Laid out rounding the home turn. MAC'S GAL- Tightened for room at the start and lost ground. B'DAISY- Passing the 1000m checked to avoid the heels of the riderless horse. ANKARA FOX- Tightened for room at the start and lost ground. RYANO- Began awkwardly. Passing the 1000m checked to avoid the heels of the riderless horse. Race 2: WHOLESALE HORSEWEAR HOUSE BENCHMARK 60 Handicap 1625 metres SUGAR BUZZ- Raced in restricted room and was eased near the 500m. LI'L RODGE- Held up approaching and rounding the home turn. Hung in under pressure in the home straight. APITHANOS- Over raced in the early and middle stages. Steadied when placed in restricted room near the 100m. GOTTA BE FIRST- Slow to begin. MISS MARGS- Apprentice M Savva was reprimanded under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using her whip on six occasions prior to the 100m, which is one more than permitted. SARASUN- Caught wide in the early stages and was then allowed by its rider to stride forward to a position outside the leader approaching the 1000m. HOT SOCK- Began awkwardly losing ground. PHOENIX FLYER- Steadied when placed in restricted room near the 100m when LI’L RODGE laid in despite the efforts of its rider. Race 3: KENNARDS HIRE Maiden Handicap 1050 metres The start was delayed when TINY TEE and MISS CHARLEE LYN both required re saddling behind the barriers KRUSTALLOS- Stewards accepted the explanation tendered by M Hemmings in relation to the late rider declaration. Raced three wide without cover throughout. MYMATE BUDDY- As the gelding had not raced in over 12 months it underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to start. Began awkwardly losing ground. Raced three wide with cover throughout. AVOWAL- Became fractious in the mounting yard dislodging its rider. MONETISE- Began awkwardly and bumped shortly after and as a result lost ground. MR BROSE- Bumped shortly after the start becoming unbalanced. Raced three wide with cover throughout. HOLYFOX- Near the 350m, when commencing to weaken, was momentarily placed in restricted room to the inside of MR BROSE. TINY TEE- Rider R Goldsbury reported her saddle shifted back near the 600m placing her at a disadvantage for the remainder of the event. HISGRACE- Near the 600m was checked to avoid heels. REMEMBER BELLA- Approaching the 600m was tightened for room and checked when KINSFORD TIGER shifted in when taken in by MISS CHARLEE LYN which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider whilst racing greenly. MISS CHARLEE LYN – Near the 800m raced in restricted room and had to be checked when KINGSFORD TIGER shifted in. Apprentice A Patis (KINGSFORD TIGER) was reprimanded as a result of this incident. Race 4: FURNEYS Maiden Handicap 1850 metres AMERICAN BOUND- Made contact with the running rail during the preliminary. The mare underwent a veterinary examination and was passed fit to start. Held up rounding the home turn. SERRENA'S KINGDOM- Put its head down as the start was affected and lost ground. When racing keenly in the early stages was allowed to stride forward by its rider to a leading position near the 800m. RUNARD REDNUT- Began awkwardly. Laid out under pressure in the home straight. Apprentice M Savva was reprimanded under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using her whip on six occasions prior to the 100m, which is one more than permitted. BRACKEN- Began awkwardly. ZEDAQUA- Steadied to avoid heels shortly after the start. PAGEN FLOKI- Held up rounding the home turn. GOLDEN JAZZ- Slow to begin. Held up rounding the home turn. Laid out under pressure in the home straight. Race 5: QUEST APARTMENTS Class 1 Plate 1850 metres BASIL – Bumped heavily on jumping. EFFEXX – Began awkwardly. Raced wide from the 900m. FURY OF THE STORM – Rider B Appo was reprimanded under AR132(5) in that he used his whip in an excessive manner, that being 15 times. BUSH SHINDIG – Rider B Newport was reprimanded under AR132(6)(c) for use of whip when out of contention. TYCOON MCKINNEY- Bumped heavily on jumping. Bumped on the hind quarters near the 1600m, became unbalanced and shifted wider. Placed in restricted room whilst weakening near the 200m. UNIQUE JOURNEY – Began awkwardly and lost ground, as a result settled further back than anticipated. When attempting to secure clear running rounding the home turn became awkwardly placed at heels, shifted in, and made contact with TYCOON MCKINNEY. MISS HOW LONG – Raced in restricted room for a short distance near the 1600m. Over raced in the early and middle stages. Forced wider from the 750m and raced wide for the remainder. Race 6: BRISBANE RIVERVIEW HOTEL BENCHMARK 72 Handicap1200 metres CAPE WICKHAM – Rider B Appo advised that after beginning well and as a result of being caught wide in the early stages he allowed his mount to stride forward and as a consequence settled more forward than anticipated. Laid out rounding the home turn. HELLAVA BABE – Slow to begin. INCOMPARABLE – Became fractious in the mounting yard dislodging its rider. Rider S Bogenhuber was assessed by QAS and was cleared to resume riding. Slow to begin. Race 7: SHEPPARD EARTHMOVING QTIS Three-Year-Old BENCHMARK 62 Handicap 1000 metres FIVE OXFORD - Began awkwardly. Laid out rounding the home turn. SPIRITOMO – Laid in from the 400m.
