Woodham GENERAL As Jockey L Tilley was unable to make the allotted weight in Race 6 as the rider of COUNT THE COIN due to covid restrictions, he was replaced as the rider of the gelding by K Yoshida. Stewards accepted the explanation of Trainer L Hatch in relation the late declaration or riders in races 3 and 5. Race 1: BPI TOOWOOMBA QTIS Two-Years-Old Handicap 870 metres LEGAL ESPRIT- Raced 4 wide without cover for the majority. Laid in under pressure in the home straight. AUTUMN DAZE- Raced 3 wide without cover throughout. LIFE'SAGIFT- Laid out rounding the home turn. STARBOOK- Bumped on jumping. TWILIGHT BOOM- Bumped on jumping. Race 2: GOOD LUCK INCENTIVISE Maiden Plate 1000 metres Trainer V Heading was fined $100 for presenting his 2 runners in this event to the enclosure with the incorrect gear.Prior to the declaration of Correct Weight, Stewards considered an objection lodged by Jockey S Bogenhuber the rider of the 4th placed STAR TWINKLE, against SAM’S A NATURAL being declared the winner alleging interference in the home straight. After taking evidence from the parties involved and reviewing the patrol footage, Stewards found that passing the 100m, SAM’S A NATURAL laid in before being corrected by its rider taking STAR TWINKLE off its racing line. Stewards further found that near the 50m, when being struck with the whip SAM’S A NATURAL again laid in resulting in STAR TWIKLE being eased by its rider. Stewards however were not satisfied that interference suffered to STAR TWINKLE exceeded the margin between the runners at the conclusion of the event and therefore dismissed the objection and declared correct weight on the judges semaphored numbers. STAR TWINKLE- Raced in restricted room in the early stages. Raced 3 wide without cover for the majority. Disappointed for run rounding the home turn. Taken in by another runner which was laying in passing the 100m. Steadied to avoid heels near the 50m. At a subsequent inquiry App. M Savva the rider of SAM’S A NATURAL pleaded guilty to charge under the terms of AR131(a) in that she failed to make sufficient effort to prevent her mount from shifting in at that point of the race causing interference to STAR TWINKLE. App. Savva’s license to ride in races was suspended for a period of 7 days to commence at midnight 10.07.21 and to expire at midnight 17.07.21. In considering penalty Stewards took into account App. Savva’s guilty plea, prior record and the racing manners of her mount leading up to the incident. BELLITA- Jockey N Evans pleaded guilty to a charge under AR 132(5) it that he used his whip excessively during the event, that being on 17 occasions. Jockey Evans’ licence to ride in races was suspended for a period of 11 days to commence midnight 10.7 21 and to expire at midnight 21.7.21. BEST IN GLOW- Bumped on jumping. BULLION BOOT- Tightened when placed in restricted room near the 800m. DINKLAGE- Bumped heavily on jumping. SAM'S A NATURAL- Raced with its head in the air near the 800m. Hung in under pressure over the concluding stages. WEDGED- Began awkwardly. Apprentice N Fazackerley could offer no explanation for the below market expectation performance of the gelding which he advised failed to improve from the 600m when placed under pressure. EVRYNOW'N'THEN- Slow to begin. KHALIJA DREAMING- Tightened for room at the start. NOETHER- Began awkwardly making heavy contact with another runner. Raced in restricted room in the early stages. Hung in under pressure in the home straight proving difficult to ride out. SONIC ARROW- Raced 4 wide without cover for the majority. COUNTY LOVE- Raced wide for the majority. Race 3: JOE WAGNER GROUP BM60 Handicap 1000 metres WAIT A MINUTE- Slow to begin. HAYYLER'S TARY- Began awkwardly. Raced 5 wide with cover for the majority. SIR BAM- Hung out in the early stages. ARROW EXPRESS- Raced 5 wide without cover for the majority. GHABBIE- Raced 3 wide without cover for the majority. FIRST CROWN- Raced 3 wide with cover for the majority. KEEPMOVING FORWARD- Began awkwardly. Improved onto heels and was steadied near the 600m and then raced in restricted room for some distance. EASY COME- Jockey B Appo was reprimanded for using his whip excessively during the event, that being on 15 occasions. Race 4: MOCO FOOD SERVICES Colts, Geldings and Entires Class 3 Handicap 1200 metres The start was delayed when CARO CAVALLO provide difficult to load. ISAREADY- Tightened for room on jumping. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a poor post-race recovery. BOSS'S BOY- Bumped on jumping. Raced 3 wide without cover for the majority. ULTIMATE POWER- Threw its head in the air shortly after the start and lost ground. Laid out under pressure in the home straight. SUMMER BLAZE- Began awkwardly. A post-race Veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. ROCK ME HUSSEY- Bumped on jumping. SHINING BLUE- Began awkwardly. Race 5: DRACARYS STALLION Fillies and Mares Class 3 Handicap - Base Rating 58 1200 metres SIESTA KEY- Lost an off fore plate in running. EXTREME JEWEL- Jumped with its head in the air at the start losing ground. Raced in restricted room in the early stages. Steadied from heels near the 500m. ABSOLUTE GLORY- Raced 3 wide without cover for the majority. PRINCESS KAYO- Jockey L Tarrant accidently dropped his off side rein approaching the finish of the event. BEACH CLUB- Jockey G Goomany reported that he believed the gelding got its tongue back during the event and may be benefited by the addition of a tongue tie to its gear. MISSLLEERS- Raced wide for the majority. FEARLESS QUEEN- Raced 3 wide with cover for the majority. URALBA- Began awkwardly. Race 6: SHEPPARD EARTHMOVING QTIS Three-Years-Old Class 2 Handicap 1000 metres AZZAREACH- Jockey G Cartwright could offer no explanation for the below market expectation performance of the gelding other than it may not have been suited by the Toowoomba track. A post-race Veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. HAMILTON HILL- Raced ungenerously with its head in the head during the middle stages. SHORT SARA- Slow to begin. COUNT THE COIN- Slow to begin. OUTBACK HEIGHTS- Steadied when awkwardly placed at heels near the 750m and again near the 550m. SINGLE SKIP- After beginning awkwardly was steadied from heels shortly after the start. Raced ungenerously with its head in the air during the middle stages. Held up approaching and rounding the home turn. Race 7: 7 QUEENSLAND ELECTRICAL SOLUTIONS BM60 Handicap 1850 metres POLE VOLTER- Declared a late scratching at 7:40pm after becoming lame near a near hind hoof after pulling a shoe in the tie up stalls. UNIQUE JOURNEY- Began awkwardly. VAMPIRINA DIAMOND- Bumped on jumping. Tightened for room shortly after the start. LUVYOUANYTIME- Hung out from the 600m. BILL OF RIGHTS- Hampered on jumping. Raced ungenerously when being restrained in the early stages. SPURIOUS- Jumped in the air at the start. Steadied from the heels of a tiring runner near the 500m. Race 8: SELECTED SEEDS QTIS Three-Years-Old Maiden Plate 1200 metres As Jockey C. Eaton took ill following her previous engagement, she was replaced as the rider of HONOUR A DREAM by H. Richardson. ANYWAY YOU WANT IT- Raced wide without cover for the majority. Forced wider on the track by another runner rounding the home turn. Taken in by another runner leaving the 150m. BOOM BY BY- Tightened for room shortly after the start. Raced greenly throughout. Forced wider on the track by another runner rounding the home turn. Laid in under pressure in the home straight. SHOTGUN SOCKS- Began awkwardly. STRUT- Raced wide with cover for the majority. Forced wider on the track by another runner rounding the home turn. Steadied to avoid heels approaching the 100m. TAKUNAI- Jockey L Tarrant could offer no explanation for the below market expectation performance. ELITE ELIZABETH- Began awkwardly. Raced wide with cover for the majority. LA OMBRE- Momentarily steadied when placed in restricted room near the 800m. MAHIGRANT- Improved onto heels leaving the 1000m and was steadied. JABBAR- Began awkwardly.
