GENERAL
 
As a result of the delay in transporting a rider to hospital after the running of Race 2, Race times were amended as follows
 
Race 3            6.50pm
Race 4            7.25pm
Race 5            8.05pm
Race 6            8.45pm
Race 7            10.15pm
 
 
Rider replacements as per the Stewards Summary.
 
Race 1: TOOWOOMBA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE Class 3 Plate 1300 metres
 
 
The start of the race was delayed due to Red Monkey and Fitzroy Boy having to be resaddled after arrival at the barriers.
 
Coronel - hampered on jumping by Dragon Pins which jumped awkwardly inwards. Over raced during the early stages. At the 900m had to be eased when racing in restricted room to the inside of Ego Dancer. At the 550m was bumped by Ego Dancer which laid in. Post- race Veterinary Examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
 
Dragon Pins - began awkwardly. Laid inwards in the straight.
 
Ego Dancer- bumped on jumping. Laid in and made contact with Coronel near the 550m.
 
Red Monkey- resaddled after arrival at the barriers. Slow to begin.
 
Trumps In- Near the 200m eased of the heels of Fitzroy Boy which shifted in. App. I. Rabjones was reprimanded by Stewards acting under AR131(a) for careless riding.
 
Fitzroy Boy- resaddled after arrival at the barriers. Bumped on jumping. Near the 200m shifted in under pressure.
 
 
 
Race 2: JIM'S SKIP BINS Class 2 Handicap 1000 metres
 
 
Shadow Colour- buffeted on bumping.
 
I'll Tell You Now- reared on jumping resulting in its rider becoming unbalanced and dislodged. Trainer M Nolan was advised by Stewards that the gelding would be required to complete a satisfactorily trial prior to its next start.
 
Open War- raced three- wide without cover throughout.
 
 
Race 3: CLASSIC RECRUITMENT AND HUMAN RESOURCES BENCHMARK 65 Handicap 1110 metres
 
 
Roke-  Near the 100m carried inwards when Cold Hard Fact shifted in under pressure.
 
Cold Hard Fact- began awkwardly, shifted outwards when racing keenly at the 800m and raced three wide thereafter.
 
Royalist- raced keenly in the middle stages.
 
Dad's Lad- slow to begin. Had difficulty in obtaining clear running in the straight, went to the line without being fully tested.
 
Race 4: TCW & TWD Class 3 Handicap 1650 metres
 
Our Spider- bumped on jumping. Near the 1500m checked when racing to the inside of Zofgold.  
 
Maximum Hustle- Slow to begin. App T Townsend pleaded guilty to a charge of excessive use of the whip under AR132 (5) in that she used her whip on 20 occasions (6 more than permitted). App Townsend was subsequently suspended from midnight 21 November 2021 until midnight 28 Novembwe 2021 (7 days).
 
Oscars Lot- Checked near the 1500m when racing to the inside of Our Spider and Zofgold. On inquiry Jockey V Venkaya pleaded guilty to a charger of carless riding under AR 131(a), in that near the 1500m he allowed his mount to shift in resulting in Our Spider and Oscar’s Lot having to check. Jockey Venkaya was subsequently suspended from riding in races from midnight 19 November  2021 until midnight 2 December 2021 (13 days)
 
Cherno Alpha- bumped on jumping. At the 1200m eased off the heels of
Oscars Lot. At the 1000m was crowded for room and brushed the rail when racing inside of Lunar Lustre which shifted in slightly. Laid in under pressure in the straight.
 
La Rapide- slow to begin, raced wide from the 900m.
 
 
 
Race 5: THE 34TH HARRY HUMPHRIES BIRTHDAY STEAKS BENCHMARK 70 Handicap 870 metres
 
Mishani Bullitt- began awkwardly.
 
Rocky Nugget- slow to begin. When questioned regarding the performance of the gelding, App. J. Cornish advised in her opinion the horse would be better suited over longer distances and that it failed to handle the track conditions today. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
 
Trommelschlagen- was slow to begin after jumping away awkwardly.
 
Tourmaster- had a tendency to over race and hung inwards throughout resulting in the Jockey not being able to ride her mount out fully.
 
Bit Of A Beauty- at the 800m bumped Sophies Lass and shortly after was carried in slightly by Kirra Lass. Was taken outwards near the 200m to obtain clear running.
 
Sophie's Lass- Bumped near the 800m.
 
 
Race 6: HAMMY'S CUPCAKES QTIS Three-Year-Old Maiden Handicap 1050 metres
 
The start of the race was delayed due to Chisum and Harlarke being difficult to load.
 
Chisum- difficult to load, a warning was placed on the gelding in regard to it’s barrier manners.     bumped on jumping.
 
Dohasan-  bumped heavily on jumping, became unbalanced and lost ground.
 
Enabler- fractious in the barriers, examined by Vet and cleared to start. Bumped on jumping.
 
Mississippi Prince- shifted in after blundering on jumping and in doing so, made heavy contact with Dohasan. Travelled wide throughout.
 
Halarke- difficult to load, a warning was placed on the filly in regard to it’s barrier manners. Bumped on jumping and was severely crowded shortly after the start.
 
Delaney's Girl- bumped on jumping, near the 150m had to be eased off the heels of Stop The which shifted inwards. App A. Jones was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground in future.
 
Stop The Rot- jumped away awkwardly. Shifted in under pressure in the straight.
 
Start Strutting- Shortly after the start was turned outwards and became unbalance when bumped heavily on the hindquarters. At the 300m raced in restricted room for a short distance when Piccannini shifted outwards. Appr. A. Thompson was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground in future.
 
 
Race 7: FITTON INSURANCE Maiden Plate 1210 metres
 
 
The start of this race was delayed due to Little Mix dislodging its rider at the barriers. As a result of landing on her right knee App. A. Patis was examined by the Ambulance Officers and cleared to fulfill her riding engagement.
 
Zabcan- heavy contact on the hindquarters by Saphire Touch on jumping, became unbalanced and lost ground.
 
Saphire Touch- began awkwardly and lost ground after bumping the hindquarters of  Zabcan and becoming unbalanced.
 
Sizzlelover- began awkwardly.
 
Little Mix- at the 700m carried wider by Saphire Touch. Appr. A. Patis had her whip struck out of her hand over the concluding stages.
 
Maputo Bay- inwards under pressure in the home straight.
 
Zou Zouamore- About the 800m eased when Maputo Bay rolled inwards.
 
 
Following the running of this race App A Patis was re-examined by the Ambulance Officers and was found to have slight swelling in her right knee, Ms Patis was advised she would require a medical clearance before riding in Trials and Races again.
