GENERAL
 
 
Race 1: REMEMBER 'OLE SUNDOWNER' Maiden Plate 1880 metres
 
BLUE TOP- Slow into stride.
 
POWER PUNCH- Bumped by another runner and was forced wider near the 1400m.
 
COUNTY LOVE- Slow to begin.
 
A FAIR SWEAR- Over raced badly in the early and middle stages. New the 1500m, whilst over raced was shifted wider by its rider to improve before obtaining the leading position near the 1100m.
 
Race 2: PLATINUM ROOFING QTIS Two-Year-Old Maiden Handicap 1050 metres
 
ALERT STATE- Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
POSSOVER- Shifted in abruptly shortly after the start resulting in its rider B Appo being dislodged. Trainer T Webb was advised the filly would be required to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to next racing. Jockey B Appo will require a medical certificate prior to next riding.
 
SPANISH ANGELS- Commenced to buck shortly after the start resulting in its rider J Morris being dislodged. Trainer L Ross was advised the filly would be required to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to next racing. Jockey J Morris will require a medical certificate prior to next riding.
 
MISHANI MAGIC- Laid out during the event. Steadied near the 300m.
 
AL PAL'S GAL- Raced 3 wide without cover for the majority.
 
 
Race 3: TOTALLY WORKWEAR TOOWOOMBA Maiden Plate 1210 metres
 
DIS GO BOOM- Slow to begin. Momentarily steadied approaching the 1000m. Hung is badly from the 600m proving difficult to ride out. Trainer L Hatch was advised the gelding would be required to barrier trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to next racing.
 
INSTANT KARMA- Slow to begin. Tightened for room near the 150m when LICENSE TO ROCK shifted out. Jockey N Tomizawa the rider of license to rock was advised to exercise more care.
 
LICENCE TO ROCK- Blundered on jumping.
 
INFORMER- Held up rounding the home turn. Disappointed for a run in the early stages of the home straight before being held up for some distance.  
 
MADAME TESS- Raced 3 wide with cover for the majority.
 
ZOU ZOUAMORE- After being caught wide in the early stages, was allowed to stride forward by its rider to assume the leading position near the 700m.
 
JONDY GRACIE- Raced 3 wide without cover throughout. Tightened for room near the 150m when DIS GO BOOM hung in despite the efforts of its rider.  
 
Race 4: HAPPY 60TH DALE MCDONALD Class 3 Handicap 1880 metres
 
 
ALIRAAJ (NZ)- After becoming fractious in the barriers was removed and examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and subsequently declared a late scratching by order of the Stewards at 4:20pm acting on Veterinary advice. Upon the declaration of correct weight Stewards ordered that all monies invested on ALIRAAJ be refunded with the following deductions to apply-
 
1st- 12cents win, 16cents the place
2nd- 9 cents place
3rd- 12cents place
 
Trainer M Kropp was advised that the gelding would be required to officially trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to next racing.
 
STAR CENTRE- At the request of its rider was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon on arrival at the barriers and subsequently passed fit to start. Displaced its offside winker near the 1400m. Was allowed to stride forward by its rider near the 1400m to obtain a position outside the leader near the 900m.
 
SO YOU'RE MAGIC- Laid out in the early stages.
 
ACCARDO- Began awkwardly. Raced keenly in the early stages.
 
WAITAKERE- Raced 3 wide without cover until a point near the 900m.
 
FOXY ROSE- Improved onto heels near the 50m and was forced to shift in.
 
CHERNO ALPHA- Laid in for the majority.
 
RED MONKEY- Bumped near the 200m.
 
Race 5: TOOWOOMBA PLASTICS BENCHMARK 70 Handicap 1210 metres
 
WHAM- Raced keenly whilst being restrained in the early stages.
 
NAVAL STRIKE- After beginning only fairly, was tightened for room shortly after the start and lost ground.
 
MAYA BAY- Laid out rounding the home turn.
 
NICK THE SKIP- Forced wider by another runner near the 750m and as a result raced 3 wide for the remainder.
 
SILENT FLYER- Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
HIGHER LOVE- Laid out rounding the home turn.
 
Race 6: KENNARDS HIRE RATINGS BAND 0 - 58 Handicap 1300 metres
 
GAIUS JULIUS- Held up for a considerable distance rounding the home turn and in the early stages of the home straight before obtaining clear running approaching the 100m when obtaining a narrow run.
 
JETT AUSTIN (NZ)- Shifted out under pressure in the home straight. 
 
TAPTHETILL- Bumped on jumping.  Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.
 
ABB ROY- Raced keenly in the early stages.
 
PICCANNINI- Began awkwardly resulting in its rider becoming unbalanced.
 
CORBIN- Hampered on jumping. Raced 3 wide with cover for the majority.
 
VLADKING- Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
YOUNG CLIFFY- Raced 3 wide with cover for the majority.
 
KOHIKO- Tightened for room shortly after the start and lost ground. Held up for a considerable distance in the home straight before securing clear running leaving the 100m.
 
Race 7: QUEENSLAND ELECTRICAL SOLUTIONS Class 1 Plate 1000 metres
 
SPLASHER- Raced 3 wide without cover until a point near the 500m.
 
ROYALE RETURN- Raced 3 wide throughout.
 
AYEPEETEE- Began awkwardly. Race 4 wide without cover throughout.
 
DISCO BEATZ- Began awkwardly.
 
MY GIRL SKY- Began awkwardly.
 
TEMUJIN LASS- App. J Cornish advised that whilst mounting the mare she was struck in the face by the horses head causing her some discomfort.
 
TIGERPOWER (NZ) - A post-race Veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
