Stewards permitted the following weight variations at today’s meetings:
Race 1: MAHBABY – M Powell 55kg (+0.5kg)
 
As Apprentice E MacPherson was indisposed stewards permitted changes as per the race day summary. Following race 3 Jockey L Tilley was released from his remaining rides and stewards permitted changes as per the race day summary.
 
Race 1: TOOWOOMBA PLASTICS Class 1 Handicap 1000 metres
 
Dad's Lad – Raced in restricted room shortly after jumping. Held up for clear running on entering the home straight and was obliged to shift wider to improve into clear running.
 
Twilight Boom – Raced wide throughout the event.
 
Shotgun Socks – Laid out under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
Hue – Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout the event.
 
Nicci De Rosa – Raced in restricted room shortly after jumping. Overraced in the middle stages. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
 
Mahbaby – Hampered shortly after jumping.
 
Milano Boom – Raced in restricted room shortly after jumping away.
 
Rozeena – Jumped away awkwardly and was slow to begin.
 
In Havana – Raced wide throughout the event.
 
Race 2: SHEPPARD EARTHMOVING BENCHMARK 60 Handicap 1300 metres
 
Harryandthetiger – Shifted out abruptly approaching the 100m.
 
Saddle Boy – Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
Sly Corner (NZ) – Slow to begin. Inconvenienced passing the 950m after the leaders contacted the rail causing it to ricochet back.
 
By the Law – Laid out rounding the home turn.
 
Bambalam – Raced wide throughout.
 
Windjana – Overraced in the middle stages.
 
Race 3: SUBZERO AIRCONDITIONING BENCHMARK 70 Handicap 1200 metres
 
Tintinwin (NZ) – Rider reported that his mount failed to travel throughout the event. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
 
Gaius – Raced in restricted room passing the 800m.
 
Penasquito – Raced in restricted room approaching the 800m.
 
Mr Brose – Raced wide throughout the event.
 
Race 4: SEDL AGENCIES Class 3 Handicap 1850 metres
 
Adalissa – Jumped away awkwardly. Rider reported that her mount, which was racing first up today without blinkers, failed to travel and suggested to connections to re-apply blinkers prior to next start.
 
Chosen Distance – Jumped away awkwardly. Laid out rounding the home turn.
 
Madame Mo – Slow to begin.
 
Recall Events – Overraced in the early and middle stages. Passing the 1000m had to be restrained after improving onto heels.
 
Race 5: GERRY BROWN'S SHELVING & STORAGE Maiden Plate870 metres
 
It's A Mistake – slow to begin.
 
Strike Award – Laid out rounding the home turn.
 
Kiss The Lass – Underwent a prerace veterinary examination after not competing for an extended period and was cleared to start. Hampered on jumping. Raced in restricted room passing the 550m.
 
Russian Sub – Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
No Not Yet – Hampered on jumping
 
Race 6: CARPET ONE RATINGS BAND 0 - 58 Handicap 1625 metres
 
Grinzinger Knight – Overraced in the early and middle stages.
 
Ironside – Reared as the start was affected resulting in IRONSIDE contacting its head on the barrier partition. A post race veterinary examination revealed blood present in the offside nostril consistent with trauma. Passing the 1000m became awkwardly placed on heels after the pace of the race slackened. Trainer J King was advised that IRONSIDE would be required to gain a further barrier certificate prior to accepting for a future race start.
 
Kyogle Kid – Passing the 1000m commenced to overrace after the pace of the race slackened. Held up for clear running passing the 400m.
 
Mojo Baby – Passing the 1000m became awkwardly placed on heels after the pace of the race slackened. Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
 
Race 7: ENTERPRISE LEGAL Maiden Plate 1625 metres
 
Barta Lines – Hung out throughout the event.
 
Keaton – Underwent a prerace veterinary examination and was cleared to start. Held up rounding the home turn.
 
Danish Boom – Raced in restricted room on entering the home straight brushing the running rail.
 
Royal Rift – Slow to begin. Shifted wider on the track passing the 500m after becoming awkwardly placed on heels. Laid in under pressure in the straight.
 
A Devil's Chance – Slow to begin.
