10cents in the dollar for the win
10cents in the dollar for the place on the winner
8cents in the dollar for 2nd place
8cents in the dollar for 3rd place

Trainer M Currie was advised the gelding would require a veterinary certificate of fitness and a further barrier certificate prior to again being permitted to start in a race.

QUACKERY- After dislodging the tongue-tie at the barriers and that piece of gear was unable to be refitted, raced without that piece of gear. SENSATIONAL REWARD- When queried regarding the tactics adopted App Donald advised it had not been her intention to lead by as far as she had however, after riding her mount forward in the early stages from the wide gate her mount didn’t respond to her efforts to restrain and steady the pace, adding further that the step  up in distance with the addition of winkers may also have contributed to this. App Donald did concede however, that greater efforts could have been made soon after obtaining the lead and a position along the inside running rail to restrain her mount and steady the pace though at the time she had been concerned with over-restraining her mount. Stewards noted the explanation.
