ALFA LILY- Stewards inquired into the tactics adopted on the mare by App Y Lewis, with particular mind to the noticeably lead established in the early and middle stages. App Lewis advised that her instructions had been to attempt to use the mares gate speed and establish a forward position however, it had not been the intention to lead the field by such a margin. App Lewis noted that in hindsight she felt she had erred by vigorously urging her mount from the barriers as this caused the mare to over-race and take charge, resulting in the noticeable leading margin. App Lewis concurred with Stewards that she also may have erred by not ceasing to endeavour to restrain her mount near the 500m, agreeing that at that stage she would have been better positioned to allow her mount stride forward in the hope of maintaining some of the established lead going into the home straight. App Wheeler also noted this being the fillies first start, as well as being under lights, may have had an impact on the performance. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.

SIRI SAY RUBICK- Began awkwardly. Laid in approaching the 400m.
