Child, T. Prestan, W. Glass, C. Taylor & F. Hartford GENERAL As App S. Callow was unable to fulfil her riding engagements due to injury, Stewards permitted rider changes as per Stewards race-day summary. App Callow was advised a medical clearance would be required prior to her being permitted to ride again. Race 1: EXCAVATION EQUIPMENT CLASS 3 HANDICAP 1625m Jockey K Zechner was fined the sum of $100 under the provisions of AR127(1) for failing to fulfil his engagement on BRINGME as a result of being dually engaged. IT'SMEMARIO- Began awkwardly. Momentarily awkwardly placed on heels near the 1400m. ROMAN DAGGER (NZ)- Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. NERANO- Raced keenly approaching the 1300m after being crossed, before being shifted wider passing the 1200m. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which a minor laceration consistent with the gelding hitting itself in running. BLUE CHIP GIRL- Momentarily held up leaving 500m having to be shifted wider approaching the 400m. Had further difficulty obtaining clear running on entering the home straight. NEW JOY- Bumped on jumping. SOCIAL STAR- Shifted in soon after the start and bumped. Obliged to ease at the 1400m when marginally crowded. A post-race veterinary examination revealed lacerations to the hind legs consistent with being galloped on in running. STAR CHANCE- Bumped soon after the start. ANTHROPICA- Began awkwardly and bumped. SAYS WHO- Bumped on jumping. Race 2:DIVERSIFIED FUEL SUPPLIES CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1625m HOTFOOT PERFORMER- Bumped on jumping. Shifted out to improve approaching the 400m and bumped another runner. Laid in under pressure down the running, shifting in and away from another runner leaving the 100m. ONE REASON- Bumped on jumping. Disappointed for a run leaving the 200m. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. TRAUTMAN- Bumped on jumping. Shifted wider leaving the 900m becoming momentarily awkwardly placed on heels and shifted wider again taking DOONA wider. Bumped approaching the 400m. GOLD PRINCE- Bumped approaching the 400m. Raced wide for the majority. DUMA- Bumped on jumping. Bumped near the 400m. Raced wide for the majority. SHOTGUN SIXTYFOUR- Bumped on jumping. Laid out under pressure in the early stages of the home straight. DUCHESS BREE- Tightened on jumping and lost ground. Momentarily held up rounding the home turn. IS SWEET (NZ)- Bumped on jumping. App A. Donald reported that the mare travelled well until placed under pressure at the 400m but failed to let down when placed under pressure. Finished somewhat tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be exhibiting signs of tying up. DOONA- Began very awkwardly and was slow into stride. Over-raced leaving the 1300m and continued to race keenly for the entirety of the back straight. Taken wider leaving the 900m. MAPLE DOOR- Slow to begin. Raced keenly approaching the 1300m. Momentarily held up rounding the home turn. Obliged to shift wider on entering the home straight to obtain clear running. READY TO THUNDER- Bumped on jumping. Held up for clear running between the 400m and the 300m. Race 3:THE SELECTED SEEDS STATHI KATSIDIS BENCHMARK 72 HANDICAP 1100mMAHBABY- Trainer C Geran was fined $200 under the provisions of LR67(1) for the late declaration of rider on the mare. Bumped on jumping and shifted out bumping a further runner. END ASSEMBLY- Bumped on jumping. Became awkwardly placed on heels soon after the start. Raced keenly approaching the 900m when being restrained in an effort to obtain cover. Shifted wider approaching the 700m and raced wide for the remainder. BEAU WITNESS- Bumped on jumping. Raced keenly near the 900m when being restrained in an effort to obtain cover. Taken wider approaching the 700m and raced wide for the remainder. DARE TO SHARE- After being posted wide was urged forward approaching the 800m and settled in a one-off position outside the leader leaving the 700m. GRANITE PRINCE- Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to start. Shifted out and bumped on jumping. COLPO DI TAMBURO- Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. SIR CARTER- Bumped soon after the start. Race 4:FLORENCE & MARABEL PINK RIBBON CUP BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1300mPRIVATE BANKER- App D Bennett was reprimanded pursuant to AR132(7)(a)(ii) for consecutive use of the whip prior to the 100m. BARRYMORE- Raced keen approaching the 900m.A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have bled from both nostrils in running. Trainer P. Minter was advised of the provisions of AR79, this being the first such occurrence. DOWN THE BARREL- Ridden conservatively in the early stages in an effort to obtain cover and a position nearer the inside running rail. Became awkwardly placed on heels leaving the 700m and was momentary steadied.Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. Laid in under pressure down the running. COBURG- Performed disappointingly. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. Trainer K Kemp advised that the stable were disappointed with the performance and undertook to advise should anything become apparent regarding the geldings condition in the coming days. Mr Kemp further added, that consideration would be given to spelling the gelding. RADIANT QUEEN- Ridden conservatively in the early stages in an effort to obtain cover and a position nearer the inside running rail. Raced wide for a short distance leaving the 700m after approving onto heels. Held up from a point approaching the 300m until passing the 200m when momentarily steadied off heels and shifted wider. MRS GOSSIP- Shifted in leaving the 700m and TEQUILA NIGHTS, which was obliged to steady, in onto BULL DIMPLE RUM. App O. Kendal was reprimanded for careless riding pursuant to AR131(a) as a result of this incident. SHEZA CHIQUITITA- Laid in under pressure down the running. PERFECT POINT- Stood flat footed and was slow to begin. Trainer B Everingham was advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding as a result. BULL DIMPLE RUM- Bumped on jumping and became awkwardly placed on heels. Momentarily crowded leaving the 700m. Momentarily steadied from heels and shifted in passing the 200m. MUST BE THE MONEY- Began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped. Raced keenly leaving the 1200m and again leaving the 1000m. Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages. TEQUILA NIGHTS- Crowded and obliged to steady from heels leaving the 700m. Race 5:RACE CALLERS CUP BENCHMARK 75 HANDICAP 2000m THE RIGHT WAY (NZ)- Underwent farrier attention at the barriers. On returning to the mounting yard was found to have lost the off-fore and off-hind plates in running. HELEVA DEEL- After being posted wide was permitted to stride forward passing the 1400m and obtained a one-off position outside the leader near the 1100m. UNCOMMON VALOUR- Bumped approaching the 700m. POWER PACK- Had difficulty obtaining clear running from a point approaching the 400m and in the early stages of the home straight. START STRUTTING- Bumped approaching the 700m. GUTS 'N' GLORY- Laid out around the home turn and under pressure down the running, bumping WINSTON BLUE approaching the 100m. WINSTON BLUE- Bumped approaching the 100m. Race 6: POLISHED BEAUTY BOUTIQUE BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1200m DRAGON PINS- Began awkwardly. Bumped the inside running rail near the 900m. KOZANI- Buffered on jumping. Shifted out marginally approaching the 100m before being corrected by its rider. App L Sykes was reminded of his obligation to ride his mount fully to the winning post. POINT BREAK- Bumped on jumping. Raced keenly near the 900m. BEAN ROCKING- Bumped on jumping. PITAVAGO- Raced keen when crossed leaving the 1000m. Momentarily held up for a clear running approaching the 300m. TAKARA STAR- After beginning only fairly from the wide barrier was ridden conservatively in an effort to obtain cover nearer the inside running rail, was unable to do so and settled in a wide position at the rear of the field. Laid out and away form another runner approaching the 100m and bumped. Taken in and crowded passing the winning post. LITTLE VAIN- Began awkwardly. Bumped approaching the 100m. Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages, shifting in taking TAKARA STAR in onto MY MOSES which was obliged to steady. Jockey M Savva was reprimanded pursuant to AR131(a) for careless riding as a result of this incident. Raced wide for the majority. MY MOSES- Laid out marginally away from heels approaching the 100m. Obliged to steady from heel passing the winning post. Race 7: OBT FINANCIAL GROUP MAIDEN PLATE 1000m COLTMAN: Began awkwardly shifted in and bumped. Shifted in leaving the 700m, momentary crowding STELLER EAGLE. App D. Bennett was advised to exercise greater care and ensure he is fully clear before shifting ground in similar circumstances. JEDIAH: Became awkwardly placed on heels soon after the start. Momentarily crowded near the 500m. EVOLEUS: Laid in approaching the 500m, momentary crowding JEDIAL. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have a poor post-race recovery. GAZZA'S DIAMOND: Buffered on jumping. Momentary held up leaving the 400m. MISTY GOLD: Bumped and shifted in on jumping. Improved on to heels approaching the 200m before being steadied and shifting wider. STELLER EAGLE: Began awkwardly. Crowded leaving the 700m and was momentary steadied. TOXIC: Began very awkwardly. WIFE IS RIGHT: Raced wide for the majority.
