RUSSIAN MINT- Obliged to steady approaching the 1000m and raced keenly for some distance thereafter. Momentarily crowded and bumped neat the 500m. Weakened from the 200m. Performed disappointingly. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a slow post-race recovery. Mr Hatch further undertook to advise should anything become apparent regarding the geldings condition in the coming days.
