Race 1: SHADFORTHS-WANDOAN WINDMILL VILLAGE MAIDEN PLATE 900m
 
LEROY LION – Stood flat footed. Trainer, S McEwan was advised that LEROY LION will need to trial or jump out to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to racing again.
 
QUARTER RED – Shifted out on jumping. Laid in under pressure over the final stages. Trainer, P webster was advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding for being difficult to load.  
 
TWOPENCE – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after being kicked in the mounting yard. Over-raced early.
 
SKYPORT LANE – Bounded in air on jumping.
 
 
Race 2: MILES TYRE & BATTERY / ELDERS WANDOAN OPEN HANDICAP 900m
 
MAMARAGAN – Slow to begin.
 
I AM FEARLESS – Fractious in barriers, jumped awkwardly, losing ground.
 
SAVVY SONG – Shifted out abruptly entering the home straight. Jockey, J Golden was reminded of his obligations to stop and straighten his mount sooner.
 
 
Race 3: NUTRIEN / TMT QTIS BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1000m
 
JOHNNY UTAH – Raced 5 wide without cover for the majority.
 
LA MANO – Jumped away awkwardly and slow to begin. When questioned, app S Callow stated the mare did not appreciate today’s racing surface. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
 
RICHUNCLEMONEYBAGS – Raved 4 wide without cover for the majority. Laid in under pressure down the home straight.
 
GOOSE STEP – Bumped on jumping and was slow away.
 
LUMINOUS WATERS – Jumped away awkwardly bumping GOOSE STEP. Laid out rounding the home straight.
 
SAY WHEN SUTTY – Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.
 
 
Race 4: RIVERINA STOCKFEEDS WANDOAN CUP BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP 1200m
 
LEGEND OF ZORRO – Reared on jumping.
 
JOEY JAWS (NZ) – Jumped awkwardly and slow to begin. Raced 3 wide without cover for the majority.
 
DUSTINS – Lost off fore plate in running.
 
 
Race 5: COL & ANNE HICKEY MEMORIAL MAIDEN PLATE 1200m
 
NYTHE – Slow into stride.
 
SAMPHIRE GREEN (IRE) – Over-raced early.
 
CHEVAL KHAN – Raced 3 wide without cover.
