Reardon Race 1: GROVE JUICE SQUEEZE QTIS Maiden Plate – 1100m EYNHALLOW – Raced wide. Jockey N. Evans could offer no explanation regarding the disappointing performance. SUPERIOR JAZZ – Began awkwardly. Apprentice J Graham advised that after beginning awkwardly the filly only travelled fairly throughout the event and failed to run on as he expected in the home straight.KIRA’S BEAT – Stood flat footed and subsequently lost significant ground. Trainer M Hemmings was advised he will be required to obtain a further Barrier Certificate for the mare prior to it next racing.ROMAN RUBY- Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout.GOOD GRACIOUS MAE- Steadied to avoid the heels of RED HEAVY near the 1000m. Jockey Beau Appo the rider of RED HEAVY was advised to exercise more care.Race 2: WARWICK AUTOMOTIVE BenchMark 50 Handicap – 1100m COUP DE VALOUR – Hung out rounding the 600m turn. CAN HE RAP – Jumped out making contact with another runner to the outside. EXCITEMENT LEVELS – Raced wide throughout. NAYTELLRHI MISS – Slow into stride. KARAHARAGA – Jumped in making contact with another runner. NIGHT WOLF – Due to racing the previous day at Kilcoy, a pre-race veterinary examination was conducted on the gelding revealing no abnormalities. Race 3: SOUTHERN DOWNS AG Maiden Plate – 1350m AUSTRALIAN PHARAOH – Declared a late scratching by order of the stewards after dislodging its rider on route to the barriers and subsequently galloping a full lap of the track. Stewards ordered that all monies invested on AUSTRALIAN PHARAOH be refunded with the following deductions to apply.19 cents in the dollar for the Win #216 cents in the dollar for place of winner #216 cents in the dollar for 2nd place #1116 cents in the dollar for 3rd place #13SUMMERILL – Raced ungenerously throughout the event. Shifted out making contact with another runner rounding the 800m turn.SCANDALS – Began awkwardly making contact with a runner to the outside. JAREL’S DRAGON – Slow to begin. Race 4: ERGON ENERGY BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP – 1350m VIRTUITY – When approaching the 600m had to be restricted off the heels of another runner.BILLY GOAT – When questioned regarding the poor performance of the gelding, Jockey J. King advised that in his opinion the gelding’s performance was affected by the allocated weight of 63kg. WORLD SERIES – Slow into stride. Raced wide over the concluding stages. KING LUDWIG – Over raced during the early stages. STORM MAGIC – Raced wide without cover during the early stages. Held up for clear running over the concluding stages. WIGGLE WIGGLE – Raced wide in the early stages. Race 5: BILL & MARGARET HOIBERG MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP – 1500m SHADOW SHOW – When questioned regarding the poor performance of the gelding, Apprentice M. Savva advised that she was riding to instructions when placing her mount in a forward position however the gelding weakened over the concluding stages proving disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalies. DANISH HOMBRE – Raced wide during the middle stages. MISS SONADOR – Jockey J. King was fined $200 for weighing in overweight.
