Wallace Race 1: ANTHONY PARKER PAINTERS MAIDEN PLATE- 800M MASSIE WHISPER - Declared a late scratching at 12: 25 due to no rider being available. Stewards considered an objection lodged by F. Jervis the rider of REAL DYNAMITE which finished 4th place against LOVER IN FLIGHT (J. Worley)) being declared the winner on the grounds of alleged interference in the home straight. After taking evidence from all parties and viewing the official patrol footage stewards dismissed the objection. Stewards acknowledged that LOVER IN FLIGHT did shift out over the concluding stages and inconvenienced REAL DYNAMITE, however, bearing in mind the degree of interference and the margin being approximately a length and three quarters between the 2 horses at the finish stewards were not of the opinion that the interference had a material affect on the placing and declared correct weight on numbers semaphored. In a subsequent inquiry J. Worley (LOVER IN FLIGHT) was advise to exercise more care when shifting ground. ROSE KIYOMI Slow to begin. HUGOOS DESTINY Slow to begin. Shifted out abruptly near the 550m and bumped another runner. Hung out throughout and was unable to be fully tested by its rider. Post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Trainer M. Hemming was advised that the gelding would require a barrier certificate prior to racing again. RUMBA LAARA Had to be steadied when tightened for room shortly after the start. REINA - Had to be steadied when tightened for room shortly after the start. FINAL PERFORMANCE- Tightened for room shortly after the start. ROYAL BOUQUEST - Had to be steadied when tightened for room shortly after the start. GREGGS GIRL- Bumped heavily by another runner near the 550m. POP NN ZAC Rider K. Yoshida reported at scale that the gelding hung out throughout. > Race 2: ALLORA RSL SUB BRANCH/INVERGARRY EQUINE CENTRE CLASS B HANDICAP 1350M FINE EYES Entering the home straight was bumped by another runner and became awkward. NAUTICAL LAD Slow to begin. TALIQUA Had to steady from heels near the 900m when TIME TO REMINISCE (J. WORLEY) was taken in by STORM ANCHOR which shifted in. Jockey M. OOBrien was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground. Held up near the 400m, shortly after was buffeted when improving into a run. On return to scale Apprentice N. Keal advised that the filly began well and travelled comfortable throughout however when placed under pressure failed to respond and in his opinion was disappointing. Post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. CURRENT FIGURES Stewards accepted the late declaration of rider, Beau Appo. Shortly after straightening shifted out and bumped another runner. GIFT OF LIFE Raced 3 wide throughout. Race 3: BLUE COW HOTEL/ALLORA TRUE VALUE HARDWARE MAIDEN PLATE 1500M ROCKY HALO Began awkwardly. RED FLYER Near the 900m shifted in abruptly. THATTS LOVELY Shifted out whilst under pressure in the home straight. HIDDEN ACTION Slow to begin. MATCH DAY Rider Beau Appo accidently dropped his whip near the 50m. Race 4: RAILWAY HOTEL ALLORA CUP BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP- 1200M WILL TO RULE Improved on to heels near the 800m and had to be eased. DRUM MASTER Began awkwardly. FELIX Began awkwardly and lost ground. MAGNORMOUS Raced 3 wide without cover throughout. Rider J. Worley reported at scaled that the gelding hung out throughout. Race 5: PURSEHOUSE RURAL - WARWICK/ALLORA OPEN HANDICAP- 1100M SUN WILL SHINE Hung out throughout. Near the 800m raced in restricted room for a short distance. TURBO TEDDY Raced 3 wide without cover throughout. Hung in during the home straight. Post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. THEREES NEMO Began awkwardly.
