Weir Race 1: MICHAEL NOLAN RACING QTIS 3YO MAIDEN PLATE – 800M After viewing the Stewards’ patrol footage, Beau Appo, the rider of 4th placegetter LET’S BOOM, lodged an objection against GYPSY TAP (K. After taking evidence from all parties and viewing the videos, Stewards found that whilst GYPSY TAP did make contact with LET’S BOOM at the 200m and again at the 150m, they were not of the view that the interference suffered to LET’S BOOM was sufficient to uphold the protest bearing in mind the manner in which both horses finished off the race, and the short neck length margin between runners at the conclusion of the race.Stewards therefore dismissed the objection, and declared correct weight on the Judge’s placings.
