Race 1: TAB BENCHMARK 58 Handicap 2000 metres
 
CALL ME LEGEND – Approaching the 100m shifted out to avoid heels.
 
BONVILLE – Began awkwardly and lost ground. Inclined to lay in throughout.
 
LEICABLE – Began awkwardly and lost ground. Shifted out under pressure in the home straight.
 
Race 2: TAB MAKE A DATE WITH PLAY Maiden Handicap 1100 metres
 
SINGLE RISE – On Friday the 12th of February the gelding was erroneously scratched from the event and was therefore reinstated into the field at 4:33pm on Friday the 12th of February. The communication in relation to the reinstatement of the gelding was provided by Racing Australia to all wagering service providers at 4:37pm on Friday the 12th of February.
 
The start of this race was delayed to allow the running of an interstate event.
 
NINETYNINE STEPS– Laid in for a short distance leaving the 600m.
 
ELKA ELEVEN – Inclined to lay in under pressure in the home straight proving difficult to ride out.
 
MY BOY MISCHKE – Slow to begin. Raced 3 wide without cover throughout the early and middle stages.
 
LOCK AND LAUNCH – Began awkwardly.
 
SASANQUAS – Began awkwardly. Inclined to lay in in the home straight.
 
Race 3: TAB VENUE MODE Maiden Handicap 1100 metres
 
VERY SOON – As the mare had raced at Nanango on Saturday the 13th of February it underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to start. Began awkwardly making contact with another runner. Sifted in abruptly approaching the 200m.
 
HISGRACE – As Jockey L Tilley was overweight Jockey N Tomizawa was the replacement rider on the gelding. Jockey L Tilley was issued a $200 fine under AR190(3).
 
LAURIE – Bumped on jumping and lost ground. Shifted out under pressure in the home straight. Jockey M Gray pleaded guilty to a charge under AR132(5) in that he used his whip in an excessive manner, that being 18 times. Jockey M Gray’s license to ride in races was suspended for a period of 8 days, to commence midnight 16/02/21 and to expire midnight 24/02/21.
 
MASARED – Tightened for room shortly after the winning post and was forced to steady.
 
A TOP CHANCE – Hung out from the 800m.
 
CRUZADOS – Slow to begin.
 
MASSIE WHISPER – Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
Race 4: TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY Class 3 Handicap 1100 metres
 
COOK IT CHARLIE – Began awkwardly making contact with another runner. Shifted out under pressure in the home straight.
 
BETTER BE BETTER – Leaving the 250m steadied to avoid heels when another runner shifted out.
 
HEART OF KINGS – Raced wide without cover throughout. Leaving the 250m shifted out inconveniencing another.
 
L'AMANTE – Began awkwardly. Steadied from heels momentarily approaching the 200m.
 
MISSLLEERS – Slow to begin. Held up in the early part of the home straight and had difficulty obtaining clear running at varying stages of the home straight.
 
HEAD ON – Bumped by another runner on jumping.
 
Race 5: TAB LIVE SKY RACING VISION Maiden Plate 1350 metres
 
The start was delayed when LOCKHEED LIGHTNING proved difficult to load.
 
SENSE OF EXPENSE – As the gelding had raced at Toowoomba on the 13th of February it underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to start.
 
MY BOY DRAGON – After being caught wide in the early stages allowed his mount to stride forward to obtain a leading position at the 800m.
 
MY MATE VINNY – Raced keenly throughout the early stages.
 
SET BEAT – Began awkwardly. Raced keenly throughout the early stages. Apprentice J Molloy was issued a $400 fine under AR211 for returning to scale in excess of 0.5kg overweight.
 
SISTINE AVENUE – Raced keenly throughout the early stages.
 
FINGERTIPS – Slow to begin.
 
LOCKHEED LIGHTNING – Began awkwardly.
 
MISTER QUICKSTEP – Slow to begin. Inclined to hang out from the 800m. Trainer J Brown was advised that the gelding would be required to trial to the satisfaction of the stewards prior to next racing.
 
BEAUTIFUL CRAZY – Began awkwardly. Upon straightening improved onto heels and was forced to shift out resulting in CHAMPAGNE SALLY having to steady to avoid heels.
 
SUZY NEEDS LOVIN' – Shifted out under pressure in the home straight.
 
Race 6: TAB BENCHMARK 65 Handicap 1350 metres
 
TONY'S DECREE – Forced wider on the track by another runner near the 800m and as a consequence raced wide without cover for the remainder.
 
STAY SMART – Raced 3 wide for the majority.
 
RUSSIAN ROMEO – Jockey B Newport was issued a reprimand under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using his whip on 6 occasions prior to the 100m, 1 more than permitted.
 
RUBY RUSH – Stood flat footed at the start and lost ground.
 
Race 7: TAB BENCHMARK 58 Handicap 800 metres
 
GRANDIOSO – Shifted out to avoid heels leaving the 100m.
 
ASK AUDREY – Shifted out under pressure in the home straight.
 
BOOMING TOWN – Blundered on jumping.
 
ROOTS'N'ROCKS – Apprentice M Savva was issued a $500 fine under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using her whip on 6 occasions prior to the 100m, 1 more than permitted.
