DEEP FAITH – Raced keenly in the early stages. When asked to comment on the performance, Jockey N. Tomizawa stated the filly travelled well in the early and middle stages, however proved disappointing when placed under pressure in the home straight. He further added the filly, which was having its first start for a new stable, may not have appreciated being ridden more positively after beginning well from an inside barrier than it had in its previous starts. Co-Trainer M. Sears concurred with the opinion of Jockey Tomizawa. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

Molloy was found guilty to a charge under the provisions of AR131(a) in that near the 350m he permitted his mount to shift out when insufficiently clear of ALLEZBEC, which was obliged to restrain and shift out to avoid heels. Apprentice Molloy’s license to ride in races was suspended for a period of 7 days, commencing Sunday, 24 November 2024 and to conclude Sunday, 1 December 2024 on which day he may ride. In assessing penalty, Stewards placed the carelessness and interference in the low range, Apprentice Molloy’s good record in relation to the rule and his apprentice status. Stewards further noted that the racing manners of ALLEZBEC had exacerbated the interference suffered, however were of the opinion that the direct cause of the incident was the outwards shift from Apprentice Molloy when insufficiently clear. Apprentice Molloy was advised of his rights to an appeal.
